Up again... vision still a little blurry but not as tired as before. Whatever I had been moved to surely felt better than the planters side. It also was somewhat like a hummingbird feeder now that I think about it. Something in those leafs must have made me high, and pass out. No wonder why I was freaking out.
Focusing on my surroundings, I was in some kind of glass cage with a chockfull of metal bars to reinforce it. This cage thing is also quite spacious compared to various cages the extinct humans used. It was about the size of an aquarium, if I had some sense of measurement. But come on, I'm a shapeshifting slime cat who used to be a human.
This cage was covered with a cloth so I couldn't see outside; or the better, more predictable answer, so the sun couldn't burn me like a raisin. On the right side was a huge tray of red dirt stuff, but not deep enough to dig in.
On the left side however, there are two bowls. I clumsily took my time to the destination. Focusing on the continents, one held water while the other diced fruit. Have they been spying more than we thought? We should be more careful next time we play outside.
I couldn't tell what one of the cubes was, but the others were mangos and oranges. Their juicy state made my nonexistent stomach growl. We hardly know our anatomy, hence why I think we don't have stomachs. Though a possible theory is that whatever we suck into ourselves gets spread out evenly.
I greedily sipped the fruit dry, and moved to the water, doing more of the same. With myself content I turned to the tray of dirt. It felt soft, and absorbent. They probably thought that I made poop or something, but we don't. If there's something we can't do anything with, we spit it out.
Though, I don't have any waste today. Maybe whatever was in one of those bowls maybe, but nothing else could be expelled. Something was in one of the sources, as I'm now feeling heavily tired. I collapsed onto the floor, letting myself sleep once again.
Blinking slowly, I could hear the faint taps of rain outside. I sprang up in an instant-
God damnit!
The Kymari cage thing is still here, and I can't go outside. I'm blind to whatever is out of this barrier, but I can clearly hear rain outside. Also, it's probably daytime. It's much lighter than the first time I woke up in here.
Glancing back at the bowls, they got refilled, and the fruit changed. This time, I could smell apple, strawberries, and... lemons! I quickly moved my position to the bowls.
Much to my disappointment, these weren't purple lemons. Just plain Earth lemons. Well, they'll have to do. I once more slurped the liquids out of both bowls, feeling a tang from the lemons and sweet from the strawberries.
Then something like a door opened, with a faint little bell. I flinched, scrambling and burying myself in the dirt. It probably won't do much since I have a peachy pelt.
I heard a deep, calming voice belonging to a male Kymari. "I do hope it gets better. The overdose of sunburst leafs must have given it quite a ride."
Another voice leaned in, sounding very excited. "I've never seen one up close before. The only view we've ever gotten was Cleo's videos of their strange dance."
"And you know I had this one accidentally fly into my face three days ago," the first dude chuckled.
Wait, the same Kymari that I ran into twice is the one that rescued me?! This is unbelievable. Almost as much as my sudden drug effect took place now.
Ugh.. they just had to make things complicated... having sunburst highness being countered with your own drug...
