There goes Hawaii
There there there goes Hawaii
Oh there goes Hawaii
The island is gone.
There goes Hawaii-
!!!
My eyes flew open. I'm back at home?
I was in a small bed-like nook on a shelf, or rather, a shelf in a bedroom. I rested my chin on the edge of it and looked around.
Seika was directly on the other side, also in one of these bed thingies. They were still asleep. There was a ledge there instead of a shelf that had a window behind it.
Near the ledge was a miniature tree where Heather was. He was staring into my soul.
"Hello?" I mewed softly.
Heather blinked, then shifted his position and kept staring at me. Suddenly Seika began to stir and wake up.
They lifted their head and looked at me with tiredness before turning into joyful surprise. They caterwauled. "Katy!!! You're awake!"
I yawned. "Yeah... had a weird dream though..."
They immediately got up and flew over to me. They loomed over me from the left. "Are you ok? Do you need anything? What was-"
"Calm your scales!" I put a hand on their snout, making them flinch. "I'm fine, and I could use a purple lemon."
They sighed in relief, and turned around. "Ok good... I'll go get one. The Kymari are out sorting something with the Clicas because..." their voice faded away as they flew out.
I hummed to myself, looking down to see myself in spread form. I shifted to normal form and stood up, stepping out of the bed. I stretched myself out like a cat, then lunged, allowing my lower half to feel the same bliss.
Seika returned with a purple lemon in their mouth. They set it in front of me. "Liki stocked up on them ever since we found you."
Before I could even think to dig in, a dark thought entered my mind. I looked them dead in the eye and said. "Seika... how long was I out?"
"Oh... about three weeks..." they said somewhat casually.
"Three weeks?!" I gasped, quickly reducing the purple lemon to nothing. "That's pretty long Seika... did.... did anything else happen while I was out...?"
The silver dragonet thought for a moment, tapping their claws against the shelf. "Um... not really. But some rogue Clicas 'accidentally' kidnapped this white and black slime cat. They're now being pursued. More formal Clicas are sorting matters with our handlers." They explained like this was a normal thing.
I felt myself glow in surprised anger. "WHAAAAT?!?"
They flinched. "I-I know! We don't even know why they did that!"
"I hope that slime cat is ok..." I looked up at the ceiling. "...and those Clicas who took them can kiss their quarters goodbye."
Heather made a weird shrilly squeak noise and flew off his perch toward us. He landed on the bed. He made a few bobbing motions before flaring his wings and bobbing again.
I squinted at him. He make biscuits with his talons and jumped up, hovering in place. He then flew out the door and made that squeaky noise again.
We looked at each other. Seika flapped their wings and trilled. "What are we waiting for? Lets go! You haven't flown around in three weeks!"
