"Hey Riku!" I smile as I run up to my friend. "Hi Sora. How are you?" He asked, looking down at me. "Good, how about you?" I put my hands behind my head. "Good, I guess. Sora, have you ever loved someone so much that it actually hurt? I just wanted to know." Riku asked, face turning a bright pink. "Well, now that I thought about it, yeah. Why do you ask?" I asked. "No reason." Riku's face was more red now.
"S-Sora. Can I t-tell you something?" Riku stuttered, causing me to worry. "Sure, you can tell me anything. We're best friends, aren't we?" I replied. OK, I have a huge secret, I only told my other best friend, Kairi. I have the BIGGEST crush on Riku. I had a crush on him ever since we met. So, I was kinda scared about what he was going to tell me. He cleared his throat and took a deep breath. "Sora, I like you. Like, love you. I couldn't keep it in. I felt like I had to tell you now. I have loved you for so long, it was too hard for me to keep it in. I will understand if you don't love me back, but, I really hope you do." He was more red than a strawberry now. My face was probably the same color. "Riku. I feel the same way! I was really scared about what you were going to tell me, to be honest, but, when you told me you loved me, I was so happy. I actually wanted to tell you that I love you, too! So, how about it? Boyfriends?" I blushed. Riku pulled me closer to him and kissed me. "Boyfriends."
