You Saved Me

I huffed out a breath as I was walking across the shore. This was my favorite thing to do after the last day of school. Sure, I'm alone, but, I like to be alone. My best friend, Sora, is probably sleeping at home. I moved my silvery hair out of my eyes. Suddenly, I really wanted to go swimming. Like, it felt like I had to. So, I took my tank top off and made my way towards the water. I took in a deep breath and dived in, and saw one of Sora's fish friends, Flounder. I think he accidentally thought I was drowning, he looked really scared and yelled "Ariel! Ariel!" I swam up and let my laughs out and went back under. Suddenly, I see Sora and Ariel swim towards me, but Sora was swimming faster than her and pushed me above water.

"Riku! Are you okay?" Sora looked worried about me."Yeah, I'm fine! Your little friend must've thought I was drowning, but I'm okay, little guy!" I giggled and winked at Flouder, as he let out a sigh of relief. "So, this is your crush! Hehe!" Ariel giggled. "ARIEL!" Sora blushes and hides his face. "So, you have a crush on me, huh?" I smiled and look into Sora's blue eyes. I wanted to test that. I dived into the water and swam as far as I could go.

"Riku!!" Sora yells and dives under the water towards me. I pretended to drown, just to scare him. But, I actually started drowning. I reached out my hand to Sora, with the other hand over my mouth.

"Riku!!" Sora yells and tries to swim faster, but, I began to feel lightheaded.I tried to swim towards Sora, but, I froze up. My eyes slowly began to close. I tried to keep them open, but they were too heavy.I managed to keep them open, but, I was running out of air and I couldn't get to Sora. This is when I noticed, Sora had a mermaid tail.

I accidentally let air leave my lungs because, I was amazed. Sora swam as fast as he could go to me, when he finally caught up to me, he put one hand on my cheek, the other on my chest.

"Riku!" Sora says with worry in his tone. My chest began to burn, I was breathing up water. I began to panic, trying to get out of Sora's grip. -Cough, hic,cough- I couldn't hold my breath anymore, i let out gallons of oxygen from my lungs.

"Sora...help.." Is all I could say. Sora looked as if he didn't know what to do. "I hope this works..." Sora looked into my eyes, and puts his lips on mine, helping me breathe.

I blushed as this was happening, Sora then lifted his hand onto my cheek. "I think he really likes me.." I thought. Sora continues this, almost as if he was worried if he had stopped, I'd drown immediately. I was still blushing, too. I began to cough, and Sora just held me closer.

"How long will this go on?" Ariel asked Flounder. "I don't know. I think Sora just became protective, heh!" He laughed. I felt really safe with Sora. I pulled away from Sora and, smiled while looking into his eyes.

"Riku, are you okay?" Sora asked, still looking worried. I nodded my head to let him know I was fine. I started running out of air again, and Sora did it again. I tried to pull away again but, Sora shook his head and pulled me back to him. I put my hand on Sora's chest softly. I opened my eyes to look at Sora's.

"Good job keeping someone alive, Sora!" Ariel's father, King Tritan says to Sora. "But, by any chance, do you know this boy? I don't see you doing this to a complete stranger!" King Tritan asked. Sora pulled away to answer his question. "He's my crush, Riku!" He says confidently, causing me to have to cover my mouth to avoid laughing underwater. Sora continues to do what he was doing, causing me to blush harder.

"Oh really? Then, I can understand why you did this!" King Tritan laughed."You know, I usually don't allow mermaids to have human partners, but, this has changed my mind!" King Tritan smiled and Ariel gasped at his reply. "That means I can be with Eric?" Ariel asked. "Eh, why not?" He shrugged and Ariel squealed in happiness. I pulled away from Sora again, and looked into his eyes. This is how I said thank you. I swam closer to Sora and kissed him softly on the lips.

"What a happy ending, a-hyuk! Who would'a thought that Sora liked Riku!" Goofy laughs."I could tell! Were you even paying attention to them! You could see it!" Donald yells. I pull away from Sora again. Sora blushes and puts his forehead on mine, muttering 'i love you's'.I grabbed Sora and swam above water."I love you too, Sora." I smiled. Sora kissed me again with his arms wrapped around my neck. "Don't do that again..you scared me.." Sora put his hand on my cheek. "I will never do that again. Trust me." I smiled. We hanged out with the Atlantica crew until we had to go home. "I love you, Riku." Sora smiles and looks into my eyes. "I love you too, Sora." I replied and held his hand.
