"Ahh!" I screamed loudly as I jolted awake. "Just another nightmare.." I say over and over to myself. "Sora? You alright?" My best friend, Riku calls to me from the other side of my door. "Y-yeah, I guess.." I was shaking. I was actually terrified but, I was too embarrassed to tell Riku. "I'm coming in." Riku opens the door and sees me, frightened over the nightmare. "Sora. I know you're scared. Come here." He pulls me into a hug, and that's when I started crying. "Cry it all out." Riku hugs me closer. Suddenly, Riku starts to hold my hand. I stopped crying and looked into Riku's blue-green eyes. "Riku, wha-" He cuts me off with a kiss.
"Sora, I have been meaning to tell you this. I love you, and I have always. You were my light that was leading me out of the darkness. And I hope you love me, too." Riku was blushing really hard. "I love you, too." I blushed and kissed him back. "Let's get back to bed." Riku says, smiling. We fell asleep in each others arms.
