23. We have eachother.

The Next Morning. .  . .

Ryan,

I opened my eyes and saw Keith laying beside me watching tv. I stared at him for a good two minutes and closed my eyes again.

"You going back to sleep?" He asked & I looked at him.

"You knew I was up?"

"I felt your staring." He looked at me. "Goodmorning."

"Morning." I got up and went to go brush my teeth.

"By the way, I used that extra tooth brush that was in the pack."

"Its cool." I started brushing my teeth. I heard Keith talking to someone and I couldnt hear since I had the water running so I turned off the faucet.

"He's throwing up ma.... it's on your hand too.....na ma I still haven't heard from her....I don't want to file a missing persons report because it'll get on social media.. she'll be back she's going through her own thing....ma I gotta go I'll call yall later you dont have to call me every 7 hours...bye."

I rinsed my mouth & washed my face. I walked out to see a note on the nightstand. I opened & read what I wrote lastnight.

"So it really wasn't a dream?"

"What?" Keith asked looking over at me.

"Nothing." I sat on the bed. "Maybe we shouldn't have done that."

"This is exactly why I was trying to stop it before it happened." Keith got up & put his tank top on & pants.

"It's not your fault I blame myself for doing it."

"Well everyone will blame me." Keith straightened his shirt.

"Everyone? Wait what?" I walked over to him & grabbed his wrists. "What does everyone have to do with this?"

"I just don't want you to feel like I took advantage of you & if you feel that way I could possibly be charged if the wrong perosn hears that & it was stupid of me since I have a child at home."

"Listen I get that you're stressing & feel like you're alone but thats not one of these cases. We both played a part in this.. I only said that because Im too vulnerable right now, I have nobody right now and I feel so confused on everything."

Keith sighed & hugged me. I hugged him back and even let a few tears fall. "Im sorry." Keith mumbled.

"Me too." I chuckled a bit to myself & wiped my eyes. "We have eachother huh?"

"You have so many people surrounding you with open arms. Ryan I have a baby.. a kid... nobody wants to help with that my life is over."

"You have me." I locked fingers with his. "Come stay here with me while we're in LA."

"Ry—" his phone started ringing on the bed. I let him go and he walked to the bed and answered it. "Ma I just got off the phone with you....she's there? Right now?...okay okay.. Im-im on my way. Do not let her touch him until I get there." He hung up and looked at  me .
