"My apologies, I forget that you were just Made. My name is Abhainn**; I came from the Moors. I was sent to you to help you adjust, train you, and teach you everything you need to know," said the fae girl with her thick Scottish accent. Natasha and Spade looked at each other skeptically.

"How did you find me?" Space said.

"Oh! I followed your trail of tears. I... apologize for whatever made you cry; we fae and the pixies don't usually cry, the elves however..." she mumbled the last bit before Spade interrupted her thoughts.

"It's not your fault," she said in a low voice to Abhainn. Natasha decided to break the ice and silence.

"So you're here to train her in combat?" asked the red head.

"What!? Oh no no no," Abhainn giggled. "I am to teach her how to use her magic, I know nothing of combat. But observing your stature, movement, and dress would suggest that you would be about to teach her on the topic?" She pointed at Natasha who was looking at her phone.

"Do we have time? My training took my entire youth and then some," she said boredly.

"Our specific species of fae has the ability to receive and implant information into minds," Abhainn quickly explained. Spade quickly pulled Natasha to the other side of the room, while the other girl got the message and covered her pointed ears.

"What do you think?" whispered the brunette.

"Do you want to go to the-"

"Yes." Space interrupted Natasha and gave her answer without second thoughts.

"When?" she retaliated back. Still Spade answered her quickly.

"As soon as possible. But I want to see if I can get any of my stuff from the tower," she didn't make direct eye contact. "But I want to at least show up for Tony's party, but I also want to train beforehand to show him that I'm moving on."

"Ooh hoo hoo you are cold. But it shows that you are maturing and venturing off on your own, and that's good. But if we're going to do this we need somewhere more private and secure." Spade didn't move and thought to herself for a minute. It was then that Natasha took time to notice the subtle changes to her friend; the perfect face, the ears, even the colored tones in her now longer hair.

"Alright, let's do this, we can go to the warehouse." she said breaking Nat's focus. But the red head nodded and followed Spade back over to Abhainn, who now uncovered her pointed ears. "I do accept your training, BUT I want to learn what I can BEFORE we go to the Moors, understood?" said the brunette. The little fae nodded and followed the other two women out the building. The group of girls already looked out of place in the New York streets, with their wild hair and outlandish outfits, but they walked confidently.

"Abhainn, is that what you wear on a daily basis?" Natasha asked as she noticed a few men eyeing her.

"No. I didn't know what humans wore so I just picked something that could blend in," shrugged the fae girl.

"Well when we get to our place we can lend you something else to wear; because not all men here are nice," Spade whispered in her ear. Abhainn shivered and nodded.

"As you wish, your Majesty."

"Do you think you can... not call me that?" she asked sheepishly. "I'm still getting used to this whole thing," she mumbled the last bit to herself.

"Of course! Would you prefer your birth name?" the far said. They stopped at a crosswalk and Natasha made sure they weren't being followed or listened in on.

"I don't even know my birth name," Spade deadpanned.

"Of course, my apologies. It's Alyndra Taitneamh Dorchadas Venkrana!" she said eagerly. "It translates to 'the beautiful shining darkness of the Venkrana bloodline'."

"Umm... I think just Spade will do," she said sheepishly to which Abhainn nodded.

Natasha cringed at how excited the young girl was to reveal the kind of creepy name, but they continued to walk past the tall buildings for a few minutes. Spade almost giggled at Abhainn trying to refrain from looking at the modern city around her in awe; but she almost didn't dodge in time from someone running in the opposite direction. Or many other people with scared looks on their faces. The girls decided to investigate, running to the corner together and were meet with chaos. People screaming and running away from some sort of creature. It was tearing up the street and other things around it as it roared in rage.

"What the hell?" Natasha said as she stared at it before training her fists in a fighting stance

"What the hell?" Natasha said as she stared at it before training her fists in a fighting stance. Space looked to the fae girl next to her for an answer.

But she only replied "Ó ifreann*..." as the color drained from her face.

"What?" Spade assumed the scared girl by shaking her shoulders. The orange and green haired girl hesitated before she answered in a scared voice.

"That's the beast you need to fight."
