Chapter 1

"Annieeeeeeeeeee!" I heared my friend's practically scream, I looked to my left to find my two best friends running towards me as if their life's depended on it, I laughed thinking how weird they are but eh what can I say I love them and I don't care about their stupidness or craziness.

"Yess?" I questioned when they finally reached me, panting.

"Holy shit!" Lauren says breathing in and out "never will I ever run like that again! Geezuz," She says clutching her chest

"Oh my gosh, shut up Lauren," Jayden says looking at Lauren rolling her eyes, I just giggle at these two.

"What's up?" I asked them while closing my locker as I started walking and they start walking with me.

"Jayden tell her," Lauren says while pushing her towards me, I look at them confusion written all over my face.

"Tell me what?" I asked them both.

"Okay I'll tell her, cause Jayden you too slow," Lauren mutters but Jayden hears and flicks her head.

"I heard from Alex, that bitch, in our class, that today we getting a new student," she says excited. "What's so exciting about that?" I asked her, while we make our way into class

"Okay, so yesterday I saw him, in the principles office, don't even ask me why I was there I'm just really glad I was there, but anyway he is cute as hell and his eyes yoh I could die," she exclaimed fanning herself.

"Well Jayden and I will be the judge of that," I say and Jayden nods her head in agreement, we go to our designated seats, and unfortunately I sit alone this year and Lauren and Jayden sits two seats in front of me, damn are they lucky to be desk partners.

I sit down and take out my maths book and my pencil bag getting ready for the lesson, I hear the classroom door open which I'm guessing is the teacher, "good morning class!" And I've been proven right, everybody just murmrs a good morning back.

I felt somebody throw a paper at me, I look up to see Lauren and Jayden pointing to look at the front of the class, I look up with my brows knitted in confusion and I'm met with the exact same gorgeous grey eyes from yesterday.

"Oh god no," I muttered to myself, but it seems like he took notice of me so he gives me a warm smile and I quickly put my head down not daring to look back up "save me now," I repeat to myself multiple times.

"So guys, this is Asher his new to our school, Asher would you like to introduce yourself?" Mr park asks and I'm guessing Asher said yes since he starts speaking and me being me I don't look up.

"What's up I'm Asher, I'm 16 years old, I was originally homeschooled and yeah I hope we all get along," I hear him finish I look around not making it obvious, there are three seats open one next to me and I sit at the back of the class, one next to Alex that brat and one desk all by itself, which I'm hoping he goes there and not come here, or I'll die.

Mr park tells Asher to go take a seat, then he leaves to go fetch something in the staff room. I hear footsteps walking and I don't dare to look up, I fiddle with my pencil case when I hear the chair next to me pull out and I see somebody taking a seat, "just great," I mutter to myself, I'm having no luck today whatsoever.

I look up but not to my right, I look to my friend's who are looking behind them at Asher, they look to me and start smirking and I just shake my head and make a shooing motion with my hands and they face the front.

"Hey," I heard a voice next to me say, I slowly turn to my right and smile.

"Hi," I said back, trying my best not to sound like a nervous wreck.

"Your the girl from yesterday right?" He asks me and I slowly nod a yes back. I put my hands on top of the desk playing with the ring on my left hand.

"That's a really pretty ring," I heard Asher say to me. Before I could say thank you, two hands slamed on top of my side of the desk, I jumped a little at the sudden sound, mentally preparing myself for what's about to happen.

"Hello little twerp got anything for me today," I hear a dark voice say close to my ear, my breathing starts to become heavier as I could feel my eyes starting to water, I look to the boy next to me, shaking my head no, why did the teacher have to leave the class whyyyy, I quickly look to my side at Asher but he's already standing up glaring at Alex, I look to Alex and he's doing the exact same thing.

I try to get up and go to my friends who are looking at Alex as if they planning his death in their mind, but I feel myself getting pushed back into my seat, I let out a yelp of pain while rubbing my hip, in fear I slowly shrink into the chair making myself smaller, I hated days like this, were I feel useless and weak, especially when Alex keeps coming to me everyday for no reason, hurting me, bullying me, what the hell is his problem? I did nothing to him.

"Do that to her again and your dead meat," I hear a low voice say I look up to Asher seeing that he isn't standing next to me, instead his in front of Alex, "oh no," I said

I get up and go to Asher "Asher please I can handle him myself," I told him putting my hand on his shoulder, I hear Alex scoff, Asher just laughs coldly.

"Look here new kid, I don't know who the fuck you think you are, but just keep your nose out of my business or were gonna have a problem," Alex says cracking his knuckles.

"Leave her alone then we won't have a problem," Asher replies back, what's wrong with this boy, "Asher please," I pleaded trying to shake some sense into him, he whips he's head to look at me and his hard stare turns into a soft one, "please," I whisper to him, he turns back to Alex and the next thing I know,

He punches him.
