I haven't seen or heard from Landon after our fight and honestly I was worried. It's not like Landon to just disappear. I mean, not for days on end. I figured he was hidden away in his room writing in his journal. So I went to see him, but Rafael told me he saw Landon leave with his backpack and he hasn't been back since. That was three days ago.
After class I went to my room to change out of my school uniform. I was in the middle of unbuttoning my blouse when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. When I turned around to open it Josie's head was already poking through the door. 'Hey, sorry I didn't know you were changing.' She quickly stepped into my room and turned around closing the door.
'Hope, are you okay? I haven't seen you all day.' Josie said her voice sweet but concerned.
I walked up behind her putting my hands on her waist and spinning her around. She looked adorable in her oversized hoodie and sweat shorts.
'I am now'. I couldn't contain my smile as I looked into those kind dark brown eyes.
'What's wrong?' Josie questioned as she looked down and started unbuttoning my blouse where I stopped. 'You had a fight with Landon again?'
'No, the compete opposite. I haven't seen him since, Raf said he left with his backpack and hasn't come back. And I don't really know if I should go look for him or give him time. I'm just worried.' I told Josie as her fingers ran down my arms as my blouse slid off.
'Hm, honestly. I think he's just camping out in the woods. He had his heart broken Hope, I can understand he would want some time away.. from you. Trust me I've avoided you these last weeks, I know how much it hurts to run into you everywhere and having to walk away.'
'I guess your right.' I said looking at the floor, where I was surprised to see my clothes. How'd she do that?
'Hey, how about you come to movie night with me now and let me take your mind off of things..' Josie spoke wrapping her arms around my waist and pulling me in for a hug. 'First thing tomorrow we'll go see my dad and ask him if he knows anything and we'll go find Landon. Okay?'
I nodded my head against Josie's neck holding her tight. 'Thank you.'
Josie pulled back a little from our hug and put a piece of hair behind my ear. She was so close. I looked up into those dark eyes and almost got lost, the air grew heavy and thick between us. I licked my lips as I looked down to see Josie biting hers. My skin was burning where her fingers traced down the side of my neck, along the edge of my bra. When she traced her nails down my stomach towards my panties I was gone.
Josie's breath hitched as I hooked my hands on the back of her thighs and lifted her up. Her long legs wrapping around my waist as I pushed her against the door.
Josie was panting, as was I. I wanted this girl to be mine more than anything in the world. And I was planning to let her know just that when I leaned in to kiss those full lips. Josie's hands were running through my hair pulling me closer and just like that..
'HOPE! JOSIE! Come on, we're gonna be late!' Lizzie banged on the door I had Josie pressed up against.
We both let out our breaths annoyed, as I rested my head on Josie's neck. 'Fuck!'
I softly bit Josie's neck before I let go of her thighs and let her slide down carefully. 'Just wait until we get back.' She whispered in my ear but when I wanted to reply Lizzie banged on the door again. 'Seriously.' I growled.
'Get dressed baby, I'll see you downstairs.'
'Okay, which movie are we watching anyway?' I asked trying to hide my blush at Josie calling me baby.
I heard her sweet laugh as she walked out the door. Oh god no..
'Twilight!'
'You have got to be kidding me!'
