The second the door closed after Josie I figured I needed one hell of a cold shower If I wanted even the slightest chance of making it through those damn movies without jumping that teasing little witch. I couldn't help but smile thinking of her.
Damn Mikaelson you got it bad..
'Yeah, time to cool off!'
After a shower of Antarctic temperatures I quickly threw on a tight longsleeve shirt and some sweatshorts before putting my still wet hair into a messy ponytail. I just headed for the door when I heard my phone vibrate.
Josie: If I said I made popcorn.. how fast would you be here?
Hope: 15 seconds! But I've seen you eat, please save some for me ;P
Not to brag but I got to the main living room in 10 seconds flat. Just in time to see Josie smile at her phone.
She looked up and when our eyes met I couldn't help my own smile. The way she laughed before she stuck out her tongue got me all tingly inside. I didn't even realize I was blocking half of the tv screen until Lizzie threw a pillow at my head yelling for me to move.
I manoeuvred myself between classmates laying on the floor on make shift beds, passing Lizzie and Raff on the sofa left of the one where Josie saved me a seat.
As I stood in front of the younger Saltzman all could think about was how cute she looked in her oversized pink hoody and black sweatshorts with her hair up in a messy bun.
'Sit that ass down lady! You already missed the first half of the movie and well half of the bowl of popcorn too.' Josie said as she pulled me down next to her. She looked at me with narrowed eyes just as she stuffed her face with more popcorn and held one up in front of my lips.
Fucking adorable. Damn Hope just stop!
I shook my head trying to make the heart eyes disappear as I was pulling Josies legs over mine and putting the bowl of popcorn on top of them. I caught Lizzies eye as she quickly looked back at the tv but I could still see her smug face.
Halfway through New Moon I lost all interest in the movie but unfortunately Josie was completely mesmerized.
'Are you seriously drooling over Edward right now?' I faked disbelief. 'Sssshhh!' Josie waved her hand at me. Oh no she didn't!
I shifted a little closer as she was already leaning into my side. Putting a stray piece of hair behind her ear I leaned in and whispered. 'I always thought you to be more into Jake, being a wolf and all that.'
Even though the only light in the room was coming from the tv screen I saw Josies cheeks get a little darker.
'Guess I was wrong.' I said sitting back up straight.
At that Josie smiled and leaned closer to my ear. 'If only there was a way to mix it all together and maybe add a little witchiness for good measure. Someone like that would definitely catch my eye.'
I couldn't help the smug look on my face hearing her say those words as my fingers trailed painfully slow down the dark haired girls neck making her breathing heavier.
I knew I had to stop teasing since I was the one who couldn't stay in controle but I was already lost when my other hand trailed up Josies bare legs that were still in my lap. My eyes followed the path my fingers traced where I could see goosebumps rising just as Josies hand covered mine.
I looked up and those dark eyes were closer than before. The way she was looking at me.. I really need to get a handle on these raging hormones.
As my eyes lowered to those full lips I finally saw the smirk she was giving me.
That's it, I'm dead.
I felt my hand moving again but this time it was Josies slowly pushing mine up higher. I looked up searching her eyes when she let herself fall back into the couch cushions, looking at me with hooded eyes and a lazy smile.
My heart was racing as my hand stopped at the fabric of her shorts, painfully aware of all the other people with super hearing in the room. I grabbed a handful of the black fabric and bunched it up in frustration making it ride down a little exposing tanned skin and the topline of laced panties.
My eyes must have been bright yellow while I was hovering over Josie when I saw her biting her bottom lip and arching her back up.
'OKAY whose ready for Eclipse?!'
Both me and Josie shot up ending a feet apart trying to calm our breathing. Waaaaaaay to close!
'Uhm yeah, I'm gonna grab us some drinks. With ice!' Josie said as she sprinted off toward the kitchen.
I was still in shock about what happened. Well what was going to happen that I just sat there completely out of it.
I came to my senses when I heard the front door slam. And god what was that awful smell. I looked around and saw Lizzies confused face. That's when I heard something slam into the wall and glass shattering on the floor.
'JOSIE!'
It took me two seconds to sprint towards the hall, Lizzie right behind me. There I saw Josie getting up surrounded by broken glass and what's left of a side table.
'Josie, What happend?!' My anger already flaring up as I saw Josies hands cut up by the glass.
I heard Lizzie yell behind me for the vamps to leave. 'NOW!'
'I-I think I found Landon.. Hope, something was off. He..'
But before Josie could finish her sentence I bolted up the stairs to his room. If I could think clearly I would've thought something of the wet footprints leading upstairs. If I wasn't completely seeing red I would've thought something of that god awful smell.
But all I could think about was ripping him to pieces for hurting Josie.
Within seconds I bursted through the door and there he was,
standing with his back towards me. I didn't think. I grabbed him by the shoulders, lifted him up and threw him into the ground with everything I had in me.
What I didn't expect was for him to crawl back to his feet. As he stood in front of the window he let out a deafening scream. The only image in my mind being Josies bloody hands was enough to launch myself at the boy I loved before, breaking through the windows and landing on the ground with a sickening crack.
