Outside, Rosielia saw a row of inx holding various things, looking at her. "There are some gifts for you," stated Ave, motioning to a log for her to sit on. Rosielia sat down and started to accept the gifts. From a silver inx that seemed to be Diamond's sister, she received A handwritten encyclopedia of wild plants, from another one of Diamond's sisters, a purple bow, and a matching quiver of arrows from the orange inx with extra tails, whose name was Rela, she now knew. Her favorite was a flower crown, from Dephi, a medicine cat, that draped around her ear to keep it on, it was adorned with blue daisies, violets, scarlet hibiscuses, and pink peonies, (which were all a little larger than those in this world.) As the sun began to fall, the inx began to go back to their respective tents. Rosepaw laid down, pondering what had happened during the day, I mean, how in the heck did she get into a magical world? Slowly yet surely, she drifted off to sleep, dreaming about all the adventures she could have in this exciting new place. Rosepaw was awoken by some rustling and footsteps not far from outside the tent. She slowly and quietly got up and evadingly walked between the mats heading towards the opposite side of the tent. Feeling around for a lantern, she tried to make as little noise as possible, hoping not to wake anyone. Once she found a lantern she lighted it using her newly gained necklace and began to tiptoe towards the door of the tent. When Rosepaw reached the door, she slowly slipped through the flap only to hear someone come out behind her. "Oh no, I'm doomed." she thought. Turning around, she saw Rela, well, her shadow anyway. "Well, what did you expect? I heard it too, and I can't let you be wandering alone. Rela whispered. Rosepaw smiled, they began their search for the source of the curious noises that they had heard before. they walked about halfway around the huge tent before they saw a figure, about the size of a human, standing there. "Who and what are you?" said Rosepaw in a shaky, whisper-like tone. "I am Mae, the messenger of a plea from Moonaia the elf queen." "Very well," said Rela, showing the other two to a tent on the opposite side from the Maiden's tent. "Where are we going?" asked Rosepaw in a hushed voice, trying to make it so the stranger could not hear them. Rela responded with "Just trust me." And that is what Rosepaw did. Rela entered the tent, leaving Rosepaw and Mae in awkward silence. Rela exited the tent with Ave and she silently greeted the elf with a quick nod of the head, which was returned. They all walked down the "isle" of tents until they reached the tent Rosepaw had first encountered and transformed in. They entered and the lantern was placed on the table. "If I may ask, why are you here?" asked Ave. " I am here on behalf of my queen, Moonaia, who has sent me to ask your kind's help with a problem we have encountered in our Queendom." " very well." responded Ave, "We will leave tomorrow, and, do you have any problem leading us there?" Mae responded, "No" "Okay then, you are welcome to stay in the camp for the night." Ave responded. "No thank you, although I appreciate the invitation, I believe I should deliver the news to my queen. I will be back by sunrise." Mae walked out of the tent and Ave said to the maidens, "You really did not have to get up and get me, but that shows how brave and how committed you two are, thank you. Now, you two can go back to sleep and I think I will get up the warriors up first to help pack, to make up for the disturbance tonight." They took the lantern and walked to Ave's tent and said goodnight, then began to walk towards their own. Once the two got there, they put out the lantern and headed back to their mats. Right as Rosepaw laid down, a flash of a deep indigo color exploded across to sky, and she began to doze off again.
