"Look, I have a plan, and I'll tell you it, but only once." growled the intimidating Cerberus when they entered the secret room. " Ok, Guys, Listen to him." Said Rosepaw "Thank you Miss-" "Rosepaw." "Thank you Rosepaw, So, If I know Xarr, He'll send regular inx from the village, not anyone really important to him. And if they are acting out of pure fear, not hypnosis or other methods, then we should try to convince them to join our side then send a couple back to fake capture. Xarr will most likely do the exact same and we will continue this method to grow the army." Hissed one of Cerberus's other heads. "I didn't know we were building an army," said Rosepaw. "Well, I kinda guessed, but nobody really said it." "Wait, do you hear that?" whispered Dia. "Everyone listened, all the inx heard it, but Cerberus was slow on the pick-up. Rosepaw's heart was racing, what would happen? Ave and Avner burst in, Ave carrying Avner "He-hel-hel-help." panted Ave, she was limping and covered in cuts. But what was scarier was Avner's state. He Had a huge gash on the side of his face and the blood was dripping down his orange fur. "OH!" Shouted Rosepaw. She ran over to them, catching Avner as Ave collapsed. "Dia, you have to find your sister." "On it!" shouted Dia as she ran out of the room. Rosepaw took her piece of fabric around her waist and ripped in half longways and took half and tied it around Avner's cut. The other half was used to wipe sweat and blood off of Ave. A solid fifteen minutes of toil passed before Dia Dashed in pulling Emerald. "There!" said Dia as she stopped to breathe. "Oh, great job, Rosepaw. Now, let's see what I have in here." Emerald opened up the sack she was wearing and rummaged through it. "Here!" she exclaimed, pulling an orange potion out of the sack. "This will take care of Avner, but I need you to help the commander." "What? How do I do that?" asked Rosepaw. "Try to heal some of her cuts with the stone while I help Avner," commanded Emerald. Rosepaw knew no more time could be wasted, so she held onto the necklace with one paw and waved her other over Ave's body, focusing as hard as she could. For a solid five minutes, she did this, healing most of the cuts on Ave. "Here, give this to her," ordered Emerald. She handed her a silver potion and Rosepaw immediately dropped three drops into Ave's mouth. Ave gasped several times, then began to breathe normally. "The Inx-They've gone mad." "What do you mean mad?" asked Rosepaw. "Insane, deranged, Cursed," said Ave seriously. Rosepaw noticed that Ave's eye was partially burned, causing a white streak across her iris and a scar on her eyelid. "Is your eye okay?" asked Rosepaw. "My leg's worse," replied Ave. Her leg was swollen below the knee implying that it was most likely broken. Rosepaw tried to heal it with the stone and succeeded in at least fixing the two parts together. "Here. Make a splint." Emerald handed Rosepaw a straight stick. Rosepaw took the stick and the piece of cloth that she had used for the cuts before and tied the stick to the lower part of Ave's leg. Rosepaw helped Ave stand up and walk over to a more hidden part of the room. In no time Avner was awake again, but in no shape to fight or speak, he didn't say a word while they took him over to where Ave was. "What do we do now?" Rela asked nobody in particular. "Well, we need to get rid of them," said Dia. "But how? asked Emerald. "OH! Be right back!" said Rela as she ran out of the room. When she came back, Rela had brought someone, the red inx Rosepaw had seen before. "Ok, no time to explain, it's getting bad out there. Rosepaw, come with us, we'll fly up, then you hold my paw and we'll fix this." Rosepaw ran out with them and when they got outside, the flew up and Rela held Rosepaw's paw and then shouted "ON THE COUNT OF THREE USE YOUR POWERS! ONE, TWO, THREE!" Rela grabbed the other inx's paw and Rosepaw focused as hard as she could and pointed her open paw's palm towards the battle below. There was a violent burst of wind and light that knocked over everyone standing below and shook the trees.
