Chapter 19

After dropping Taylor off at her house I drove to the park in silence down the dark road, the only light were the few street lamps on the sidewalk. I glanced around the sides of the road into the trees, that almost looked like something were moving in the distance. I squinted my eyes seeing a figure running in between the trees. It seemed to be getting closer but I soon realized that the honk from another car told me I was in the wrong lane. Looking like a deer caught in the head lights of a car, I grabbed the stearing wheel turning my car back into the other lane. I took a deep breathe but was soon taken from me when I felt the impact of another car hitting into the drivers side and my car flipping.

The sound of glass shattering and metal being scratched against the gravel was all I could hear. My body felt numb, being thrown around in the car. I tried opening my eyes but they felt way to heavy. My head was pounding and something wet was running down the side of my face and into my mouth. The metalic taste of blood had my eyes flashing open quick, the site infront of me had me hyperventilating. Red eyes looked back at me from the broken window infront of me. I couldnt make out who it was but the red eyes looked familiar. He turned his head and was gone in a flash. I tried to call out but sirens in the distance had me stopping. They seemed closer, paramedics and a fire rescue team stood outside the car. one of the fire rescuers walked up and got down infront of me and said, "Were going to get you out just stay still and take calming breathes."

I stared at the man and whispered, "It hurts." The man nodded "I know, were going to get you out.  Come on guys lets get started." He walked away, and hooked on a clamp that started to pull the car apart. Not sure what happened after that because the next thing I knew, blackness covered my vision.

Where is she? I asked myself. Brody sat quite on one of the park benches with his head in his hand. I paced back and forth infront of him my fist clenching together. "Sit down she will get here when she does." I stopped and turned my head towards him and growled, my eyes flashing red. Brody rolled his eyes and stood up pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. "I dont see why you smoke, it has no effect on you." I said. He stood there with a hand on his hip blowing smoke out his mouth. "Why do you care?" His voice drawled out. I was going to reply when a sharp pain shot through my entire body.

I was on my knees breathing hard, I looked up to see if Brody was doing this to me, but he was on the ground to. As soon as it was there it was gone. I huffed out a breath and started to get back up. My hands on my knees and trying to catch my breath I asked, "What the..." But was interupted when Brody shot his head up and said "Isabelle...." then took off running into the woods.

...................................................................... 2 weeks later..................................................................................

I was  in the middle of a meadow looking up at the moon. The air was fresh and a nice cool breeze blew across the field, tossing my hair around. I sat up and took a deep breathe, the fresh air filling my lungs. I looked off into the distance when I saw a man walking towards me. I stood up and began walking towards him. When I was close enough my breathe caught in my throat. He smiled down at me and raised his hand to cup my cheek. His skin was warm and soft, and his messy brown hair was like he just ran a hand through it, but what stood out most was his eyes. They were a deep sapphire. He had on a white buttoned shirt that was rolled up to his elbows and opened showing off a nice set of abs and pure muscle. He had on a pair of dark wash jeans that hung low on his hips, and he was bare foot in the grass.

He stared deep into my eyes and I couldnt help but let out a shaky breathe and look down to what I was wearing. It was a strapless dress and stopped mid-thigh, the color matched his eyes. I had no shoes on and the grass felt nice between my toes. I smiled and looked back up at the man infront of me who was also smiling. He leaned down and captured my lips with his. His lips were so soft and the kiss was sweet and slow and held so much passion in it. I opened my eyes when he pulled away, his eyes were no longer their sapphire color, but green. Thats when it hit me. The person standing infront of me, was Brody. I was going to say something when a very bright light filled the meadow blinding me. I sheilded my eyes from the light, until it became unbarelable and I closed my eyes. I blinked a few times my body feeling sore and looked over at the person beside the bed.

"Your awake."
