Chapter 16

It was Thursday, so Taylor and I decided to go to the mall to see if they had any prom dresses. It wasnt like me to get excited but that was only for two reasons. Reason one is because its senior year and the second reason is becasue the guy I like asked me. Over the past couple of weeks my apperance has been chaning according to Taylor, and I have to say I its weird but I do look hot. My hair is longer and a darker brown with red highlights and more culs to it and my eyes had become much brighter than before. Alot of changes have been happening, I'd noticed I dont have to sleep as much or eat 'I still do'.

That's besides the point the guy that asked me, his name is Michael. He has light brown hair and the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. He plays football and he's very muscular and tall like  six foot three. My thoughts of Michael were interupted by me bumping into Taylor's back which is a first because usually its the other way around. We were in the school parking lot heading towards my car. "Umph, sorry Tay." She huffed and turned around. "Belle, are you thinking about someone?" Taylor knew me so well but she didnt know that I was asked to prom by Michael, I havent gotten the chance to tell her yet. "Huh? Um, yeah kinda."  She squealed and said, "So you remember Ian?" I scrunched my eyebrows together and said, "No, actually I was thinking of Michael."

"What? The really hot football player, that every girl wants to be with." I nodded and got in the car. "Ohhh tell me." Once the doors closed I started the car and headed towards the mall. I looked over at Taylor and she was bouncing in her seat smiling like a crazy person she is. "Well he kinda asked me to the prom." I said with a small smile. Taylor let out a really loud scream which ended with me swerving the car. After I had it back on track, I looked over and glared at Taylor. She was breathing hard and had a hand over her chest. "Your a terrible driver." Taylor said. "What?! You're the one screaming!" She had a small smile on her lips. I sighed and shook my head.

My heart stopped when I saw the blue and red lights behind me. I pulled over and waited for the officer to come to the window. My hands where starting to get clamly and I had to wipe my hands on my jeans. I looked at Taylor and she was looking down at her hands. There was a knock at the window. I rolled the window down and the officer said, "Good afternoon, do you know why I pulled you over?" I shook my head and let out a small 'no'. "You were swerving a couple of miles back, can you step out of the car." I turned the car off and put the keys in the seat and stepped out of the car. "Come over here and walk this line." Seriously he thought I was drunk, if only. "Alright can I see your license and regestration?" I walked back to the car and grabbed my license out of my wallet and the papers out of the glove box.

I handed it over to the officer and he walked back to his car. A few mintues later he came back and handed me my license back. "I will give you a warning, but next time its jail. Got it. " I nodded and got back in the car. I took a deep breath and started the car. I pulled off the side of the road and headed home. "Taylor, we can order some dresses." She nodded and kept her head down. It was silent for awhile. "I still cant believe he asked you." Taylor whispered. I laughed and shook my head and kept my eyes on the road.
