The Legend Of Flame

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

"Isabelle, sweetheart time to get up!!" my mother yelled from downstairs. I groaned and sat up in bed rubbing my eyes. Letting out a tired yawned I got up off my bed only to fall on the floor. "Ow, stupid blanket!" I kicked the covers off and headed to the bathroom. I glanced at myself in the mirror and had to do a double take. I was a mess, my hair looked like a birds nest and yesterdays make up smeared around my eyes. Well I guess thats what I get for staying up so late. "Time to take a shower." After my shower I picked out a pair of black high waisted shorts with gold buttons, a t-shirt with micky mouse on it tucked into my shorts, red suspenders and black converse. I blow dried my hair leaving it in its natural dark brown curls. Then applying black eyeliner and a light shade of eye shadow to my dark brown eyes, I headed downstairs for breakfast.

"What took you so long?" my mom asked. "Oh you know, the usual." She shook her head and handed me a plate of waffles. "Thanks." I said and sat down at the bar. My mom just stared at me while I ate, and it was kinda freaking me out so I blurted out "What women?!" She only smiled and said "Nothing sweeheart, have fun at school I have to head out I need to check on the small children." I nodded and mumbled "Yeah sure", around a mouth full of waffles. My mom works at the hospital down town, helping take care of  the smaller kids and such. Once I had finished my waffles I went back upstairs brushed my teeth, then grabbed my bag and headed out the door to my car.

I arrived at school a few minutes early so that I could wait for my friend Taylor to show up. In my state of bored I decided to play a game on my phone to pass the time. I felt a dark shadow appear by my window and looked over to see Taylor heavely breathing on the drivers side window. I got out of my car only to be jumped on. "AHHHH IM SO GLAD WE ARE SENIORS,,, JUST A FEW MORE DAYS AND WE GRADUATE! ARENT YOU EXCITED!" I covered my ears only to laugh after she stopped talking."Yeah im excited but you didnt have to scream in my ear." Taylor is one of the craziest people you will ever meet. She is basiclly the opposite of me, where as I am calm and tomboyish, she is wild and girly. "Come on Belle, you should be jumping up and down with me." I glared at her "Tay, I would but sometimes you are just to wild and people just stare way to much." She huffed and said "Well fine then, one of these days I will get you to jump up and down with me." I started to walk towards the building of the school when I got this feeling that somebody was watching me. I stopped to look around only to have Taylor bumb into me. "Hey Taylor, do you ever feel like your being watched." I glanced over at her to see her staring at me with a creepy grin on her face. "All the time." she said rubbing her hands together.  I shook my head and kept walking towards the school building.
