Aftermath

The possible threat

Two days later
  Athena sat in her palace with tons of ancient books on her table. The other gods were pressuring her to find out about the orb Gaea threw in the ground. It had been confirmed that she was back in her slumber. But her last words still echoed in their head.

   "By chaos, why is it so difficult to figure this out?". She yelled to no-one in particular while massaging her temples from a growing migraine.

   In frustration, she threw the books on the floor. All but one book hit the floor.

     Out of curiosity, she paused to check the book and saw it was the book she had gotten from her mother about primordial power. She opened the book and looked up orbs. Her eyes widened when she read the last paragraph.

         Suddenly there was a disturbance in the air. "Oh no" she whispered.

    She ran to the throne and threw a gray beam in the air calling a council meeting. There were thirteen different flashes at once.

     "Why have you called this meeting Athena?" Zeus asked with a bit of anger in his voice. He was on a date with a really beautiful mortal and was about to achieve his goal when she called.

  "I figured out what Gaea did before she returned to her slumber and we may as well prepare for war" she replied still trying to catch her breath.

  "What do you mean war? We just got out of one. Who else wants us dead? I mean I know we have a lot of enemies but are they really that eager?" Poseidon said.

   "The demigods are still recovering. They won't make it if they fight and who are we up against anyway?" Hermes asked.
   
Taking a deep breathe she muttered something not wanting to meet their eyes.

    " Huh?" Artemis said not hearing what she was saying. "Kronos" she yelled.

  "w-what. But I thought he won't ever be able to reform" Zeus spluttered in surprise.

    "He wouldn't have been able but his mother changed that with the orb. The orb was actually created from a spell that brings about life is basically a creation spell but that's not all." Athena said thinking of how this would go.

  "Go on" Zeus said looking worried.

    "The orb has to be far from everyone except the person using it. And ..."

    "The closest person to the orb was Percy" Poseidon said with wide eyes filled with fear for his son.

      "He is lucky though because by my calculations it will only cause a weird addition to his body."

  "And what is that?" Aphrodite questioned.

   "The creation of a uterus." She answered. "But we have to discuss the issue of Kronos possibly rising again."

     Suddenly green mist gathered around Apollo. His eyes also turning green. A prophesy.

Beware rulers of earth

Child of the sea he seeks

The destroyers craves revenge

Upon the creator himself

Time and tide shall meet

To unite friends and foes

The fate of the world

In their decision it lies.

A traitor among friends

The gods must find.
