No one's POV

The Titans played about, sizing each other up. All except Iapetus who wanted to sit it out and watch. It had been a long time since the Titans were this care free. The half blood went about their own business. Chiron was glaring at the Titans because one wrong move and a cabin may suddenly go up in flames.

"Can't you take this else where?" Chiron said, his tail flicking nervously.

"Oh come on, we're not gonna destroy anything. If we do, then Kronos will have our heads. Chill out a bit." Hyperion said, tired of the centaurs constant complain.

Chiron sighed and went to back to his work but not before ordering the half bloods to stay clear of that area.

"You don't seem in the mood to play today." Koios said, taking a seat beside Iapetus.

Iapetus shrugged his shoulder but didn't respond. He kept his eyes on Hyperion.

"You've been sneaking around each other but I don't understand why you both won't just admit it." Koios said.

It was evident that they both liked each other. At first the only hindrance was the fact that they were both married but they had gotten divorced from their respective wives so everyone was confused as to why they didn't date.

"The war." That was all Iapetus said.

"That's bullshit. This started even before the war so that's not an excuse." Koios replied.

"Well dating is a west of time." Iapetus smirked.

"No, it is north." Koios replied.

The two titans laughed, joking with each other unaware of the Titan glaring at them.

"Koios, if Iapetus doesn't want to train then leave him be. You should be training, not joking around. The war is still going on." Hyperion said trying his best to keep from growling.

"Sure." Koios smirked knowingly.

Kronos with Percy, his eyes staring at nothing. It was obvious that his mind was planets away by now.

"Kronos, are you okay?" Percy questioned concerned.

"Uh, what? Oh, I'm fine." Kronos said.

"That alone tells me something different. The Titan king is lost in thought. Hmm, never thought that this day would come." Percy said amused until his lover glared at him.

Percy raised his hands in a surrendering motion with little Kayson babbling and trying to tug on his mothers hair.

"OK, what's wrong?" Percy asked giving Kayson to his mother, who left them sensing the tension.

"Order." Kronos said.

"We've been over this. I'm fine, nothing is going to happen. Stop over thinking this." Percy glared back.

"Wait, just listen to me OK. I'm just suspicious. He's been quiet. He isn't trying anything, it makes wonder what he's planning." Kronos said.

The words somehow made sense to Percy. The primordial hadn't made any move yet. As much Percy would hate to admit it, it unnerved him.

Sally came back with the three months old child and smiled at the couple before giving the baby to his father. Kronos watched at Sally walked away. He remembered how she threatened to castrate him and gut him if he harmed her son or grandson.

Kronos felt his shirt getting wet and looked down to see his son chewing on his shirt. He smiled and tickled his son. The baby giggled, both of them unaware of the fond smile on Percy's face.

"Percy, you need to see this." A teary Piper said.

Percy followed her quickly to the back of the Athena cabin to see a something he wasn't prepared for.

Annabeth laid motionless on the ground. Her eyes glazed over. There was no sign of being stabbed or anything.

"No, no, no. This can't be. Please tell me this is a cruel prank." Percy fell to his knees sobbing and clutching the body.

"Please wake up. You can't leave me. You promised. Who's going to teach Kayson? No, please. Annabeth wake up. Please." Percy pleaded crying uncontrollably.

Kronos pried his lover away from the body seeing as no one could.

"She's gone." Percy said to Kronos still not believing it.

"I know, I know." Kronos said shifting Kayson to one side while hugging his crying lover to sooth him.

Kayson looked confused at first but then saw his mother crying. He began to cry as well, making Kronos take his family away from the site.

Sally seeing his predicament took Kayson from him.

"Percy, he left this." Grover said bringing a note to him.

The note read

"This is the first of many to come."
Signed Order.

Percy clutched the note, crying even more.

"It's my fault." He whispered.

"No it's not." Kronos said now glaring at the satyr.

"No, you don't understand. He killed her because of me." Percy yelled.

"No, he killed her because he's a psychopath and he wants to get to you. Don't give him what he wants because it would not change anything. It would only make you a traitor. He's trying to destroy the world as we know it. Which means he'll still try to kill your friends." Kronos said trying to get to Percy before he looses him.

"I just wish all these would stop. The war and everything." Percy said cuddling with Kronos.

"I know. I know." Kronos said. He felt Percy's breath stable and realized he had fallen asleep after his emotional break down.
