Kronos's POV:
Though I'll never admit it, I am so happy that he accepted me. What? I have to keep up my reputation. I hope we never get separated. I have to keep an eye on him. With order still at large, I have to make sure I don't leave his side. One wrong move and he'll be in order's clutches."What are you thinking about?" I was brought out from my thoughts. Looking down I saw Percy curiously looking at me.
"The war. And order. He's too quiet. He's planning something and I don't like that. I don't want you to get hurt" i said
"I'll be fine so there's no need to be worried. Speaking of which, earlier today I felt like someone was watching me." He said thoughtfully.
"Order"
"Hey, calm down. We don't know that yet. And besides I have you and the whole of mount Olympus and Othrys at my side. Nothing is gonna happen." Percy said reassuringly
"Promise?" I asked
"What are we? Kids?" He snorted
At the look I gave him, he relented. "Fine, I promise I'll try to stay safe. But with my luck. That may very well not happen.""Then I guess I'll have to appoint guards for you."
"There will be no need for that. I can take care of myself. I …" The conch horn suddenly sounded. A new half blood had arrived.
Percy's POV:
Since it became clear that it was earth against order, the monsters have stopped hunting half bloods and are actually helping plus they don't want to get me angry because that would make Kronos angry. No one wants to see an angry Kronos.
At the border, more than one half blood was there. They were three. It wasn't suspicious because they were no longer hunted.
"Hello children, welcome to camp half blood. How did you find your way here without the help of a satyr?"
"Our dad gave us directions and said we were to come here. He explained everything to us." A guy with muddy brown eyes and blond hair said.
"What are your names?" Annabeth asked
"My name is James and these are my brothers, Parker and Thomas." He said pointing to the two behind him. They all had the same eyes but Parker had black hair while Thomas has brown hair with green streaks.
"Come, let's talk in the big house." Chiron said to the three.
"You mean the big house over there?" Thomas asked.
"Well yes. How did you know?" Chiron asked not masking his surprise.
Thomas looked sheepish while James glared at him like he had done something wrong. I looked over at Kronos to see him giving them a suspicious glare.
"It's the biggest house around." Thomas said with a shy smile.
"Well let's get going." Chiron said with a smile.
The trio and Chiron left for the big house while the rest of camp dispersed. I turned to look at Kronos. He kept on staring at the trio.
"I don't trust them." He said not looking at me.
"Oh come on. Give them a break. They are new here. You are just being paranoid." I said crossing my arms on my chest and looking at Kronos with a disapproving look.
"Didn't you see how uneasy the satyrs and monsters were around them. Call me paranoid but something isn't right about them." Kronos said
"Well whatever it is let's forget about it for now. We can think on it later. There are much more important things to be done. For starters, talking to your kids. You are going to apologize and try to get along with them. We need this treaty to work. "
Kronos groaned suddenly reminded of the moment he had been dreading.
"Let's get this done and over with." Kronos turned and left dragging Percy along with him.
