“So what do you want to make, Saki? Do you need my help?”

The clone drops a wrench because of the sudden voice that surprised them. “N-No, I’m perfectly fine. Thank you for asking.”, they smiled nervously.

When the girl walks away, Kyou get back to his train of thoughts while still working of their project. To be honest, the male feel bad for not knowing anything about their eccentric classmate. Knowing her name is the top priority for now, but how? Asking for exchanging card names? Like hell a high school student has one! Maybe looking at her desk will get them a clue; but the only problem is the location. Everything seems to be a wreck; big spare parts and blue prints literally decorate the class, and no one seems to be bothered with it. Not that Kyou feel uncomfortable -he’s a messy person himself- but it still makes him irked if that habit stand on his way to finish his job.

With a ‘looking for something’ behaviour, they start to explore the wrecked ship. It’s like looking for a needle in a pile of hay, and each seconds that past away irks Kyou even more. For the first time, he complained about being messy. After putting some machines and instruments away, they finally came into something; a photo of the pink salmon girl holding something that she created, a teddy bear that was taped on top of a remote controlled car toy. She smiled so brightly at the thing she made; it triggers a good memory inside Kyou’s head, when everything is still fine and beautiful. Beside the framed photo, a familiar box they’ve been looking for laid there with a thin dust covering it. The box contains a pink card, adorned with Jersey Lilies at each corner; curvy words sculpted on the card, Hatsume Mei, Inventor. Despite how bizarre she looks, she has a quite girly taste; maybe Mei isn’t as bad as Kyou thinks.

“Not bad, Miss Saki. But this equipment seems.. Pretty plain.”

“I’m sorry for not meeting your expectation, but I’ll try harder on the next project! I’m just getting started!”, they exclaimed.

Maybe because of their last mission, Kyou can’t think about anything complex. So instead of making a rocket missile launcher, they made a water sprinkler. But of course, it’s not just an ordinary one; its smooth rectangular shape and not too heavy, with the jet shooter it can shot anything that contains water in high speed. The little holes on the upper side can also shoot any watery substance to every direction which can be controlled by the user using a remote. It’s a perfect tool for defence and attack for heroes with water type quirk, and even gas quirk. But still, it’s not enough to fulfil UA’s expectations.

“I’ll still accept this, you’ve worked hard and doesn’t blow up everything; that’s a nice start.”, Power Loader Sensei gave them a thumb up.

The android smiled sweetly in return and go back to their desk; which is surprisingly near to Mei’s desk. The pink salmon girl waved at them while grinning.

“Good job on your first project! It’s a really cool baby! We should have a collaboration one day!”, she also gave a thumb up.

“Thank you, Hatsume-san. I’ll be looking forward for that too.”, they said.

This time, the golden cross eyed girl smile rather.. Hesitantly. Something is bugging her mind for the entire time since her soon-to-be partner came; the silver haired girl seems different. If Mei recalled, she already told her to just call her Mei, or maybe she’s just a shy person like what she said? Whatever it is, the inventor girl is quite curious about her new friend.

“Oh, it’s time for hero lesson. See you later, Hatsume-san!”

  “Yeah, see you later!”
