Rose hummed a playful tune as she once again walk through her favourite alley. It’s almost like the other suspicious looking narrow way which always looked like a secret path to an evil lair at night; but this one is a shortcut for her to go to Kyou’s house. Nothing seems to be out of place, or anything that blocks her way before, making her walk to circles first. But one person -who’s quite brave to follow someone like her despite her villainous features- has been on her tail for several minutes.

“You know, it’s not nice to stalk, Mr. Stalker. Especially after they’re willing to walk an extra mile to shake you off, but it seems like you don’t catch the signal.”, the bizarre eyed girl dared the boy to come out from the shadows.

Peeking from the corner of her black and red orbs, she see her stalker walk to her eyesight slowly but steady. She smiled delightfuly as the boy trembles; it sends shivers through her spines, making her unconsciously licks her bottom lip.

“I-I uhh... Mistook you as someone else. I’m sorry..”

“Oh really?”, she asked again as she turned around.

Each step makes the male let out a squeak sound; like a mouse, just like what she loved when she had her prey in her claws. The desperate voice, the quivering figure, maybe it’ll be even better if he piss in his pants or at least look up a bit so she can savour the short male’s fear from his expression as well.

She crouched in front of Minoru with a wide smile. “Hey, do you have time to tell me more about this girl you have interest on?”

“Don’t you think it won’t work?”

Caelum tightens his grip to the black leather seat. All of his senses were screaming, something is clearly not right about Kyou’s solution. Was it because of his quirk, that he dreamed about this before? Which sleepless night that the vision enlightened him? He wasn’t sure, he couldn’t remember.

“Not really. It may sounds ridiculous, but it’ll work somehow.”, the curly raven haired male didn’t leave his attention to the computer screen. His long slender fingers dance in a fast beat on the keyboard, while his orbs sometimes shift to the old journal on the desk. The older male is on a rush, and Caelum knows; that’s why he hesitate to ask and choose to be quiet.

“Your senses are tingling again?”, Kyou asked in a playful tone, trying to cheer up the dead atmosphere.

The snow haired boy holds his groan -he knew how much Kyou loves superhero movies, and can’t stop inserting some lines in his words- and instead he answered the question. “Yeah, like usual.”

  “Anything else?”

“No, just a hunch with 100% right possibility.”

The golden eyed male smiled as he stretch from his seat; finally done with translating the journal’s content. “Anything else that you want to ask about my idea?”

Caelum ponders a bit before saying, “Yes, did you just fried your brain because you spent so many hours in front of that computer or what?”

It made Kyou snorts; his roommate’s harsh words never failed to amuse him. “Nah, it’s still fresh.”

Now it’s the younger boy’s turn to hold his snicker as silent wash them again.

“What kind of a headmaster will accept an android as his student?”

“Definitely a stupid one, except he doesn’t know.”, Kyou leans back to his chair.

Caelum turns his head to the raven haired male. Whatever the older male’s thinking about, he can only wish it was not like what he thought. “You’re not planning on making Saki lie are you?”

Kyou lets his heart savours the question, immediately felt a pang of guilt. He looked at his palm and say, “Sometimes the right choice requires us to walk down a dirty path.”

Caelum bite his bottom lip. Anything that he thinks about just vanished, replaced with boiling anger as he glared at the older male’s back.

“Saki will be better off in our hands, anyway...”, he whispered to himself.

Shinichi makes his way up through the marble stairs. Instead of going to his and Admiral’s chamber, he walked a little more further ahead and stop right in front of Saki’s door. His daughter just arrived at home a half hour ago, and made a bee line to her room; ignored Admiral’s worry.

Something is not right, and of course the root blonde male realised that since the discussion when he pushed her button. He got too much fun with playing Saki in his hands -which is a bad habit, and his husband frequently warned him about that- and he knew this time he went overboard. He knew he should have hold himself, it’s his daughter that he had been neglected for years, he doesn’t know her changes. But seeing the yet blooming flower’s reaction, she hasn’t change a bit from what Shinichi remember.

So here he is, driven by his father intuition and also his husband’s words about Saki being gloomy according to Admiral’s quirk. He caught her daughter staring the night sky as she sit on the windowsill. The room is dark, and she haven’t change into her pajamas yet.

  “Dad, why are you here?”

A pang of ache hit his heart. His soon blooming flower seems  to saw right through him; but as someone who takes her under his wings, Shinichi knew there’s something wrong behind her glossy dark blood orbs. Everything in the room screams it, her stare shows it, even the serene black canvas littered with stars and gigantic moon seems to give him a signal through their warm light, that there’s something that bothers Saki. And it’s his job as a father to help her in her vulnerable state.

“O-Oh, Papa told me to check up on you..”

Shinichi swallow dryly, completely clueless to how he should deal with teen’s sadness. While Saki still gave him the same look, not showing any vulnerability but seems weak at the same time.

“Is there something wrong, Saki?”, the hazel eyed male pulled a chair for him to sit near the half cyborg girl, letting him admiring both his daughter and the beautiful moon outside.

Shinichi sensed her uneasiness; she shifted her attention to the white night sun again, and her unspoken hesitation through the silence. She may not want to talk about it, but at least he’s there for supporting her through his presence, that’s what the golden eyed male thought. He’s probably the most useless one in a time like this, it should be Admiral who takes over; he’s a good for nothing to his own daughter.

“Tell me, Dad.. Is lying always felt bad?”, Saki didn’t move her sight as she asked.

Shinichi smiled, knowing that he have a lead on this topic. “It always is. Even white lies will feel needle-like in your heart.”

How can he forget that feeling? His life before he meet the love of his life is full of lie. The smile, the act, he needed to survive after every lie, tried to not fail to pick the fruit before its time. But when it was the time for him to end it, he would get the sweetest taste, even though his mouth was bloody while chewing it. The pain, not only physically but also gets to the heart, pleased him so much that almost every lie satisfied him.

He may not seek for his daily dose of feelings for his numb heart anymore, but that doesn’t mean he already lost his tricks and his likings to it.

“Are you planning something secretly behind me and Papa, Saki?”, he grins like a Cheshire cat.

“... Yes.”, the girl answered even though she’s hesitating at first.

“Is it so secretive that you need to start a path full of lies?”

“...Looking at this moment, then it will be a long path.”, the daughter bit her bottom lip.

Shinichi lets out a hum. “Does it necessary to do it? Which side are you on?”

“I.. I believe it’s necessary for my life in the future and also to finish my job as a wish granter. After so many contemplating, I’m sure I’m in the white side.”

Her voice was loud and clear; she clearly knew what she wanted and the consequences. Shinichi’s presence is only a pusher for her to do it.

As a father, he felt proud blooms in his heart. “Hmm.. I guess my help is not needed.”

“No, I do need your help, Dad.”, the half cyborg finally see him again.

  “Which is?”

“Can you lend me your apartment for awhile?”

  “Wait, how can you kn-“

“You’re not a drinker type, so it’s impossible that you’ll stay in a bar for a few days. And Papa usually expel you every time you come back from your mission, then you must have some place to stay.”, Saki said the matter of fact.

“Haha, okay you got me. Just promise me you won’t break anything or leak the information to Papa, kay?”

Saki let a thin smile slip through her lips. “I promise.”

A faint call from downstairs can be heard; dinner must be ready. As his daughter stand up from her place, Shinichi still stay on the chair for a little while pondering.

“Is it so secretive that you can’t even tell me a little bit?”, he asked, still staring at the gigantic moon.

A creak from the wooden door follows her answer. “Well, I think you’re good enough to know just a little bit about this; since you’re the man of trickery.”

The quite childish male looked at Saki, seems impatiently wait for her secret to leak out.

“Someone will fill my place in UA High school.”

And as the girl closes the door, the root blonde male just sit there, stunned with the little and ambiguous information. What will she do? Another creation like android? A clone of her own? Her doppelganger? Anything it is, it made him the happiest father in the world. His daughter is on a path of lies, just like him. And even better, she’s in a path of greed to, just like him. She’s really his daughter, the sinful man’s daughter.
