"Mom! Jaemin's here! I'll see you later!" Soyeon yelled before walking out the door. Her boyfriend sat outside of his car in the driveway, staring at the doorway, waiting for her to come out.
When she did, he smiled, admiring how beautiful she was. He opened her door and waited for her to come around, placing a kiss on her head.
"You're so pretty," he said, as usual. She smiled.
"You're prettier," she winked, making him smile. He walked around to his own side once she was in the car and reached over to put her seatbelt on. "I can do it myself," she told him.
"Whatever," Jaemin answered. They pulled out of the driveway and she checked her lipstick in the mirror, rubbing her lips together. "How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Better," Soyeon answered with a smile. "Honestly I'm kind of glad we talked. I guess you're a better boyfriend than I thought."
He reached over and pinched her cheek. "God I'm obsessed with you," he said, making her chuckle.
They pulled up to school and he ran around the car but she beat him again, the two of them laughing about it. He slung his arm around her shoulders and they walked into school together, getting a lot of looks from people all around.
Heejin ran up to them once they walked in. "I can't believe I missed your initiation as a couple because I was too busy taking a stupid exam. God you guys are such a beautiful couple."
Soyeon laughed and poked Heejin's stomach. Heejin grabbed Soyeon around the waist and threw her over her shoulder, pulling her out of Jaemin's grasp.
"I'm stealing your girlfriend!" Heejin yelled.
"I want her back by algebra," Jaemin replied with a chuckle. He headed to his first period class, suddenly being joined by someone walking beside him.
Jaemin turned to see someone from their algebra class, someone who occasionally would talk to Soyeon. "You're dating Jeon Soyeon?" the boy asked. Jaemin nodded. "Why?" he asked again.
"What do you mean, why?" Jaemin asked.
"I mean, like, you're the most popular guy in school, and don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous, but wouldn't you rather be able to go with a bunch of different girls rather than just tie yourself down to one?"
"No," Jaemin answered immediately. "Other girls aren't like Soyeon. I could have 100 of them and they still wouldn't live up to her."
The kid raised his eyebrows and scoffed. "You should leave her to someone who doesn't have access to all of those girls."
Jaemin turned to the kid and furrowed his eyebrows. "What does that mean?"
"Nothing, nevermind," the kid said, shaking his head. "Just don't take advantage of her. She doesn't deserve it."
The boy walked away and Jaemin watched him, surprised. He shrugged it off and took out his phone to text Soyeon.
Jaemin
You've got a secret admirer.
Soyeon
Hmmm .... Is it you?
Jaemin
I'm not a SECRET admirer, I'm just an admirer. I just talked to some kid though and he was telling me that I should leave you to the people who don't have access to as many girls, and how I shouldn't take advantage of you because you don't deserve it.
Soyeon
Do you know who it was?
Jaemin
He's in our algebra class. What's his name? The kid who sits in front of Lee Yoojin.
Soyeon
Gong Soonyoung? No way lmao he like never talks to me unless he needs the homework. Maybe you mistook him for someone else?
Jaemin
No, I swear that's who it was. Tall, red hair, big lips.
Soyeon
