"Jaemin, Jaemin wake up. Wake up." Jaemin's eyes fluttered open, dried up tears inhabiting all around his eyelids. "Baby, what's wrong?"

Jaemin's eyes went wide at the sight of Soyeon. "I-Why are you here?" he asked. She looked down at him curiously.

"What do you mean why am I here? We're in the middle of the mall, Jaemin."

Jaemin looked to the side, realizing that he was laying in Soyeon's lap on a couch in the middle of the mall. He sat up and looked around. "I-I'm so confused," he said.

"About what?" Soyeon lifted her hand up to his head, stroking his hair. He grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"So we're not broken up?" he asked. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Broken up? Why would we be broken up? We came to the mall, got something to eat and then you said you wanted to take a power nap," Soyeon explained. Jaemin let his head fall to her shoulder.

"I love you," he muttered. She picked up his face and examined it.

"Are you okay?" she asked. He explained his dream and she held his hand tightly, taking in all of it. "If it makes you feel better, I would never end the relationship over something that stupid, and I don't have a crazy ex boyfriend like that."

Jaemin sighed in relief. "Thank god. That was an awful dream."

Soyeon smiled and stood up. "Come on big guy, let's get out of here before we run into Soonyoung and Hongbin," she said. Jaemin grunted.

"Don't jinx it," he replied. She laughed as he took her hand and the two of them walked to the car. Soyeon got in her side and Jaemin stood outside of her door, looking at her.

"Cut it out," she laughed. "You're freaking me out."

He took another deep breath and shut the door, walking to his own side. "If you leave me I'll kill you," he said abruptly. Soyeon let out a laugh.

"Let's go to your house," she said. "I wanna see Hyun Ki."

Jaemin drove to his house, keeping a hand on Soyeon's lap the entire time. They pulled up to his house and before Jaemin could get out of the car, Soyeon reached over and grabbed him by the shirt, kissing him.

She pulled away and he looked stunned, taking a few seconds to blink his way back to reality. "I-What was that for?" he asked.

"Do you want me to text Gong Soonyoung and tell him to back off?" Soyeon asked. "Because if you're having dreams about it now that are clearly bugging you, I want to help in whatever way I can."

Jaemin gave her a small smile and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "It's my problem. I'll take care of it. You just be your pretty little self."

He winked at her and got out of the car, walking to her side to open the door for her. Once they got inside they were greeted by a fluffy Hyun Ki, and a woman calling Jaemin's name from the kitchen.

"Jaemin-ah, is that you? We have visitors!" Jaemin's mom called out.

"Oh, I brought Soyeon home," Jaemin replied, putting his slippers down in front of Soyeon so she could use them. He took her hand and led her to the kitchen.

"Hi, Soyeon," Mrs. Na greeted her with a smile. Mr. Na and another couple were seated at the table, and Jaemin smiled when he saw them.

"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Lee, how are you?" he asked. They smiled back at him.

"We're very well, thank you," Mrs. Lee answered back. Jaemin looked over at Soyeon with a smile.

"These are Mark's parents," he said. Soyeon's eyes widened and she nodded with a smile. She reached her hand out to shake theirs.

"Oh, it's so nice to meet you!" she exclaimed. Mrs. Na smiled and stood up, pointing at two chairs for Jaemin and Soyeon to sit in. Hyun Ki walked over and seated himself on the floor next to Soyeon so she could pet him.

Jaemin sat across from Soyeon, talking to Mrs. Lee about Mark and Mina and whatever else they could think of while Mrs. Na put together some cheese and crackers for them. Soyeon stood up and walked over to help her, figuring she wasn't a big part of the conversation.

"You know, you could ask the Lee's about studying abroad," Mrs. Na told Soyeon. "They know a lot about other countries. They lived in Canada for a while and then in America and now obviously they live here. They've traveled a lot."

Soyeon smiled and nodded. "I'll have to catch them alone," she replied. "Jaemin doesn't exactly like the idea of me going away."

Mrs. Na rolled her eyes. "He'll get over it," she said. "If you guys are really meant to be, a plane ride won't keep you apart."

She handed a plate of cheese to Soyeon and the two of them walked back to the table, putting the food down. Jaemin looked at Soyeon when she sat down, giving her a small wink and a smile.

She blew him a small kiss that no one else caught and smiled back while he reached his feet over to touch hers. "Oh, by the way," Mr. Na started, looking at Soyeon. "I think your mom invited us back to your house for next weekend and I'm not sure if we told her yes, but we are all good. I just don't have her number."

Soyeon smiled and nodded. "I can write it down for you before I leave, no worries."

Mrs. Lee smiled. "You are quite precious," she said to Soyeon. "I mean, I always knew that Jaemin was going to end up with a pretty girl once he stopped making his way around," she shot him a look across the table, "but you're much more than I expected. You're pretty and kind and clearly have your head on straight. Jaemin needs someone like that to keep him in check. Like Mina for Mark. She keeps him grounded."

Soyeon smiled and looked at Jaemin with a smirk. "Yeah, he's quite a handful, I'll give you that," she said. "But he's worth all the hard work."

Jaemin took a breath, admiring his girlfriend across the table. Soyeon caught him staring and stuck her tongue out, getting a small chuckle out of him before they proceeded to talk with the adults.
