It had been obvious that a change had happened in izuku, that you could see by how much he was talking to people now, but to someone like katsuki who had been his best friend for the longest time, there was another change that could be seen.

A very hidden personality shift. This once cold, dark boy who hated the world had completely transformed his mind into that of a childish one, he loathed in fighting but he always took risks now, something katsuki could notice in sparing with him. But there were times were his serious side would break through, and the first sign of that was a shift in the boys smile, it would flicker like a candle before it went and he would just show the realistic truth of the world, it was something that made katsuki worry, after all a mask isn't very good when its split in half.

He also noticed that the boy would often joke around and tease people, something he had never really known how to do. He didnt know why his friends life getting better bothered him, its like there was a certain unease when you were the victim of his childishness, it was like behind the smile he put on you could see the death of not only those around him but himself as well, it seemed that Aizawa had seen this as well as he always had uncertain look when in the boys presence

"Hey sensei" the explosive blonde walked over to aizawa at break "What is it Bakugou?" He asked back the stress clear in his voice "Do you know whats going on? With izuku?" The man looked at him as he carried on "its like he's changed but he's hiding something, something he doesn't know he's hiding" the man sighed

"He's been broken and built so many times now that he's struggling to truly decide who he is, he doesn't know if he's izuku midoriya or if he's izuku aizawa or even a hero for the matter, he's not even him. Not until he decides for himself anyway" the man said with wisdom not knowing that like half the class was outside the door, they felt bad not knowing soon enough to help him

"Is there anyway to help him?" Bakugou asked in a slightly broken voice, a voice that showed genuine sadness for his friend. The man shuck his head

"No, give him time and trust him. He's strong but remember, just like us he's only human" everyone could only agree as the bell went and they all went into the class room, that day everyone gave glances to the boy who was oblivious of it, he just stared out the window, seemingly looking into the sun, he didn't even notice when everyone was staring directly at him, at the same time no less

'Who am i anymore?' The boy thought to himself 'i've gotten my revenge, and gotten over the Toga issue. So just who am i now?' He followed along with the day, not listening or caring. Unconsciously he accidentally activated timeskip, he looked around and noticed the cracked dome around him that showed time skip was active and he sighed, he looked out the window and saw his reflection, his now white hair had never stood out so much to him, he remembered what hit had told him during the usj

'until you can become at peace, you will not be able to harness its full power' how could he be at peace? He was surrounded by death and conflict, was he to enjoy the death of others or simply not care? Maybe it was to find happiness, but where should he look?

He stood up from his seat as he deactivated time skip and walked to the door and left, nobody tried to stop him.

He left the school grounds and went to dagobah municipal beach, the one he had cleaned as training the moment he was rescued long ago, it was quiet, no cars driving by, no people talking and the wind was completely still, he walked so his feet were just on the water and he fell to his knees and punched the sand, causing the water in a mile radius to freeze, the large crashing waves toward over him but showed no threat. He looked to his shaky hand as he continued to punch and punch, the ice slowly expanding

"I wish i could forget" he said quietly to nobody at all, thinking off how he tried to throw away his past life, but its memory still sparked deep within him, the memory of love and compassion that he thought he had forgotten was causing him so much pain that he couldn't describe it, he heard a foot step next to him, a small green haired child stood there as he was in time skip again, it was him, a young version of himself, before the quirks and before the pain, when he was happy, thats who it was.

The child began to cry as over and over they screamed at him "DONT FORGET ME" there was only one difference to the crying child from when he was younger though, he radiated a powerful aura, one of love, he stood up as tears formed and he hugged the boy, a small smile on his face

"I understand now, what I've been missing" he looked up to the sky "thank you, i know you said you wouldn't come back but I somehow know this is your doing. Thank you hit"

Kinda just a chapter to show how izuku is changing into a closer version of the anime him, but you know, he is the cold hero so he cant be the same, but much more compassionate than he was earlier in the book
