Karlie almost wanted to take the words back, especially after the awkward minute of silence that followed it, but then she felt a pair of soft lips on hers and she couldn't help but be a little surprised. She reciprocated the kiss, it was gentle and passionate - not rushed, but not too slow either.

They pull away for oxygen and Karlie uses the time to take in Taylor's dilated pupils that are eclipsing most of the mesmerising blue. This time, she kisses the blonde and it's more heated than before as Karlie lays on the bed, pulling Taylor to straddle her. Taylor slips her hands under the brunettes t-shirt, allowing her hands to graze over the outline of her abs.

The gang leader pulls her hands away from the girls waist and trails them to her front and undoes a couple of buttons of her flannel shirt, immediately Taylor starts pulling away from the kiss and grabbing her wrists to stop her from undoing any more.

Karlie starts to panic that she'd gone too far, momentarily forgetting that she was only seventeen.

"Shit, I forgot you're only seventeen. I'm so sorry," she said, staring up at the girls who was still straddling her with a knee on either side of her torso. "I'm sorry," she apologises, again.

"It's okay, Karlie," Taylor assured her. "I didn't stop you because of my age, that's totally irrelevant to me," she said before giving her a quick peck on the lips and moving off of her body so she could lay down beside her. "I'm just not ready for that yet," she timidly admits.

They lay in a somewhat comfortable silence, until something clicked in Karlie's brain. "Taylor?"

"Yeah."

"Are you a virgin?" She asks, and watches as Taylor rolls over onto her front and buries her face into the closest pillow.

"Yes," she replied so quietly that's Karlie almost didn't hear it.

"Hey," Karlie replied, getting Taylor to turn her face to the side so it was visible to her. "It's okay."

"I've never been in a relationship either. You must think I'm weird now. I'm just clumsy Taylor and you're beautiful Karlie Kloss who could pass as a freaking model," she rambled, as Karlie smirked in amusement.

"I don't think you're weird, I think you're adorable," The brunette told the younger girl, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. "Can I ask why you've never dated though?"

"I was homeschooled my whole life, so I didn't really get to experience the whole high school sweetheart thing. I didn't even have any friends, other than Selena," she explained to the taller girl who sat and listened.

"Once again, I'm sorry. I should've asked you first before unbuttoning your shirt. Your first time should be special, not in some random hotel room with a woman you barely know."

"It's okay, Karlie. Let's just put it in the past and never speak of it again," Taylor told her, turning her body to lie on her side to face Karlie who was in the same position.

"Okay. I don't suppose there's any chance we can still make out though, because that—"

Karlie's rambling is cut off by Taylor's soft lips sliding against her own, their hands tentatively touching each other's body with caution. Taylor's hand resting on Karlie's cheek; Karlie's on Taylor's upper thigh, pulling it into a ninety degree angle over her own legs to maximise their body contact.

They eventually pull away with equally bright smiles, "You know you're my first kiss too."

"How was it?" Karlie asks, suddenly feeling a little self-conscious.
