Chapter 14 - Fish and popcorn

" If he didn't like her he wouldn't look like that. But that guy has her attention, and Zayn's over there, liked that her attention was on him."he explained further

"Oh I get it now"

I then see his mouth moving, Mia then looks at him and she pulls him away and I go up to pay for the stuff. She rushed him out of the store and shoves him furiously. Kole and I stood in the background letting everything unfold.

"Why are you a jerk" she yelled

"What do you mean?" He replied

"Honestly, really? Hey back off dude, oh come on. I barely know you and your gonna be territorial" she said to him.

" I'm sorry okay" he said to her

She stomped away and left him there by himself. Kole scratches his head and I sigh in disappointment.

"I'll get Zayn and you get Mia. Go" Said Kole and I ran after her.

"Mia are you okay" I Asked when I was nearly out of breath.

"I'm sorry I just needed to get away from him. I barely know him and he's acting like that" she explained

"Hey calm down he's young and so are you. Okay so he likes you, meaning that he wanted your attention. Meaning that he acted out like that to make you see him" I explained

"I know he likes me and I like him too. He's sweet and nice, but he I don't know" she said to me.

"Well then let's go back and you two can work it out"

She nodded to me and we went to find Kole and Zayn. We found them sitting on a bench and Zayn looked sad. Kole got up and Mia went to sit beside him.

"Hey" Said Mia

"Hey" Said Zayn

"Look, I'm sorry I over reacted and I kinda think you saved me back there. That guy was ugly" she said and he busted out in laughter.

"Yeah I'm sorry too, I was getting jealous" he confesses to her

"Don't worry I know, it was kind of cute" she said as his cheeks turned red

He held out his hands and she places hers in his. As much as I enjoy seeing this we needed to finish our shopping.

"Okay love birds let's get going" Said Kole and they stand up and walk towards more stores.

By the time we get back to the house, everyone is waiting for us. Connor and Conrad were arguing as usually. The twins were playing sand man with Ashter. On the couch was Ashter, who was so asleep couldn't feel the point of the marker.

"Hey Connor, did Tony and Maddie stop by?" I asked

"Yeah I left the drawings in your room" he answered

Kole and I helped Mia and Zayn carry all his stuff to his room that would be remodel for him. He walked in the room and was ecstatic. He looked at Mia as his mind was blown.

"Okay so I already like it but it's just missing a few things" he said

"Alright, like what?" I asked

"Well I want a couple a chairs and other stuff so that if I was hanging out in here with Mia we would have a place to sit" he explains and she then looked shocked.

"Alright then before your papers for school are submitted and accepted we'll grab more stuff" I said

"By the way Mia, since you and Zayn are kind of like 'something' why don't you just put your stuff in here? I mean Kole's stuff is everywhere in my room. The clothes I bought you were so that you always have something." I said before we left.
