Chapter 18
As I adjust the mic to my mouth I take a deep breath to calm down. I didn't even have a song and had to think of one to play on the spot. But then I thought of one, but I would have to sing for this one. I started to play ' What about us' By pink. My fingers start to hit the keys and I begin the intro to the song.
We are search light, we see in the dark.We are rockets, pointed up at the stars.

I close my eyes and hear the beautiful music that I was playing. I heard distant cheering and it sounded like Zayn and Mia on the side. I hear their voices and automatically smile.

Play back in my mind. Before I knew it I was playing with too much passion that I know I was gonna regret later on. I could feel my hands hitting the keys furiously and forcefully.

I hit the keys and pause, I belted our the high note and reaching it. My grandparents were impressed. My friends were impressed and shocked at my skills that they've never seen before. I finish the song and I'm breathing heavy and I look over at my grandfather. He smiles and blows me a kiss, I give him a small smile.
I move off the floor and walk over to my friends who are ecstatic about how I preformed. Before I can get a word In I feel a tug on my dress. I turn around to see my younger cousins behind me. I give them a big hug and then a few of my distant cousins come over and they're excited to see me and hug me.
"Wow, I didn't know Lizzy's cousins were so hot" Said Gems to Tyler who was kind of jealous.
The twins were eyeing two of my cousins who were about the same age as them.
"Cousin Elizabeth" Said Ivy and Violet. Who were twins but weren't identical like Jared and Jeremiah.
Ivy had Blue colored eyes while Violets were grey. Violet had curly long black hair while Ivy's wasn't as curly and Ivy looked a lot like her mother while Violet shares her fathers and mother's characteristics. They were eyeing the twins too as well. I suddenly notice and call them over.
"Jared, Jeremiah come over here" I gestured them as they step around my dress and stand in front of Ivy and Violet.
"Guys this is Ivy and Violet Liken" I said to them
"Hello" they said in sync
"Their twins like you two" I explained and they smiled
"Well I like the one on the right" Said Ivy Who was talking about Jeremiah.
"This one is Jeremiah" I said as he smiled and held out his hand for her.
"Would you like to dance?" He offered and they left to the dance floor.
"Don't worry, your handsomer than your brother" Complimented Violet as she held out her hand and Jared took it with a smirk on his face.
