Paddle Boating

Sara's POV

"Is that Olivia and Tom?" i asked, glancing over at the table across from ours.

Nathan glanced over and smiled. "Yeah, it appears so." he amused.

"Should we invite them over?" I asked.

We watched Tom and Olivia laugh and reach for eachother's hand. Nathan laughed. "I dont think so... They seem to be having a good time."

I nodded and looked at the menu in front of me. I frowned. "I dont see fries on here and i really want fries." i complained. Nathan grinned and stole the menu from me.

"Love, fries is chips here."

"Well that makes no sence." i exclaimed.

"It makes total sense!" nathan laughed.

"How?" I inquired.

Nathan paused for a second. "I dont know it just does." he said flustered. I laughed and he joined me.

Could a day be more perfect?

As Nathan and I was leaving the restaurant, Nathan's phone rang. He picked up with a secret smile on his face.

"Ello? Oh hey mate. yeah. what? yeah. Can do. See you in twenty. just gotta tell Sara." he talked a few more minutes and then hung up turning to me a glint in his eyes.

"Wanna go paddle boating?"

twenty minutes later Nathan and I met Siva and Nareesha at the paddle boats. Nareesha was prettier in person and she fit Nathan's best friend to a tee. She was tall slender with caramel skin and silky black hair and brown eyes. She smiled at me like only a model could and held her hand out.

"Hi, Im Nareesha but you can call me Eesha. Seev and Nath has told me a lot about you. in fact i was the one on the phone with him a little while ago."

I laughed and took her well manicured hand in mine. "Im Sara and if you dont mind me saying; Siva and you look so well together."

She laughed and wrapped her arms around Siva's waist. "I know right?"

Siva laughed and the boys left me and Eesha to go get the paddle boat. In a few seconds we were out in the water. Nathan and me hip to hip and Eesha practically in Siva's lap. Nathan nudged my shoulder causing the little boat to shake. i grin up at him. "

So how old are you?" he asked. i blushed.

"Twenty."

Nathan's smile widened and he leaned towards me his lips brushing my earlobe. Why is he doing this?

"I like older woman." he flirted.

i rolled my eyes and shoved him lightly. the boat shook and Siva shot me a look.

"Im not even that much older then you!" i protested and Eesha laughed. Suddenly we were all shoving each other causing the boat to spin and shake in circles. nathan threw his hands up in the air.

"Like a rocket to the sky going up a million miles and im not coming down."

Smiling I joined in my saprano melting into his beautiful deep tenor.

"Wont stop til i feel the sky at my feet my dreams are always im flying flying..."

Laughing Eesha and Siva joined in and we kept singing and spinning. Spinning and singing until...

thud.

The boat flipped and i was met with shockingly cold water.

i screamed and felt two hands curling around my waist lifting me up and breaking the surface of the pond's water. Siva and Eesha was in front of me looking very much like two drowned cats in love and Nathan was beside me looking like a very frightened very wet feline.

"This is not good. I am not the greatest swimmer." Nathan mumbled and I rolled my eyes.

"crybaby. Cmon lets just flip the boat back over and then ride it back to shore."

he nodded and with Siva's and Eesha's help we tipped the boat back on its belly. Nathan quickly climbed into the boat and we headed home, laughing uncontrallably.
