Anais Pov

Today was the day. Today I end this silly little rebellion. I had teams ready to attack every single outpost of the rebels. On my signal we're gonna storm them all and kill all the rebels with me leading the most important one. This outpost was the biggest outpost that they had and their main outpost. They had set up shop in the ruins of the burnt down city of Sylphir. The city itself used to be prosperous but when demons were banned from going up to the surface, it fell. The crime rate increased and so did poverty. Eventually the citizens left it and some decided to set it on fire, purely for satisfaction. The night was silent as I stared at the city full of rebels. There were many bonfires burning brightly with many demons surrounding it, laughing and enjoying their dinner. I scowled at them. This is what they're rebelling for. To sit around silly little campfires and laugh. My hatred for the rebels increased. They insult me and the crown for nothing.

I feel the blood stone on my wrist heat slightly and send out a dim light. The leaders of the other assault team are in position and I smirk. I turn toward my team and they wait for me to give them the signal. I touch the rock and it heats to a burning point and then give them the signal to move in. My soldiers don't wait any longer and race to the rebels. The sound of screams and fighting reach my ears and I expand my wings, wanting to see the battle from the air. I see the rebels trying to lead the women and the children out of the city only to encounter more of my soldiers. There's no way any of the rebels would get out of this fight. I start laughing and some of the rebels look up at the sky. I can see their eyes widen and I've never felt more powerful. Wanting to get in on the fight I dive down and grab a rebel of off the ground. His eyes are wide and there is a scream escaping his mouth. With a grin I rip his tongue out and let the blood hit me. The smell of his blood makes me hungry and I rip his arm off, letting the blood rain down on the battle beneath us. I let go of the rebel and watch him fall to the ground clutching his shoulder. I drop down to the ground and almost immediatly the rebels are on me. I start laughing and let the red haze take over as i watch from within as i maul and rip the demons apart.

Hours later, my red haze has worn off and I feel the blood stone heat viciously, burning my skin off, meaning that the teams are all telling me they were done. I let out a defeaning roar and my warrior join in, letting all of Hell know that the rebels were done and that the rebellion has ended. I'm sure that all the warriors victory could be heard across Hell. There would be a feast tonight and everyone loyal to the crown would celebrate. These warriors would be rewarded and everything would go back to how it was. The warriors started cleaning up the massacre by burning the bodies. Everyone was working dilingently, eager to go home and reap the rewards that they worked hard for. A warrior came up to me a grin on his face. "Your highness we've finished burning the bodies." I nod and look around, most of the warriors looking at me, waiting. "Move out men. Head to the capital." At my word they all start heading out of the ruins towards the capital. I fly into the sky making my way to the capital, closing my eyes and enjoying the freedom i have in the air. The weightlessnes I feel.

I arrive at the capital before the soldiers and make my way into the castle. A strange smell hits me as soon as I enter and I'm on guard instantly. I follow the smell towards the throne room and throw open the doors. All eyes fell on me but I focused on one person.  My eyes land on the spy I left at Caleb's pack. I took in his appearance. There were scratches on his face and one of his ears is missing. His clothes were drenched in blood and I'm assuming its his since there's shackles around his wrist. I follow the chains to the hands of Caleb who's eyes are wide and then my eyes lazily work their way to the last person I'd expect to be in hell, Kennedy. I ignore them as the demon starts talking. "Your highness." The demon drops to his knee and bows. I make my way towards him, letting the power seep out of me. "I see that you've failed." The demon starts shaking and tenses when I stand in front of him.
