On History and Annoyances

I should preface this with the fact that I actually enjoy history very much. It is basically the story as we know it for the human race, though most groups of people wish they could erase a portion of their past. Which is a very human thing, we all hate a certain part of the choices we've made this far. Taking Honors History is starting to seem like one of those choices I'm not particularly pleased with.

Now if you think honors is always the best, this is not true. Not in any capacity. It is more work for an extra .04 on your GPA. Which I don't really care about anyway. Also I chose Honors mainly so I wouldn't be surrounded by stupid people. Yet somehow I still am.

These kids are intelligent without a doubt, but the arrogance that is constantly flowing out of their mouth is just surprising. I assumed that most people who were intelligent were smart too.

Yes there is a difference between the two. Smart people know what to do to stay unnoticed and not get yelled at. They keep their head down and turn in their work without making a big deal of it. Smart people can accept failure because they know if they don't before graduating the world is going to bite a humongous hole right in their ass.

Intelligent people though, well the ones who are extremely arrogant and haven't the slightest clue as to why they are doing what they are doing, happen to be terrifying. They can recite facts and have about as many personality traits as a printer. They are the reason I feel America is doomed, well regardless of the terrible decisions out government makes occasionally.

Well I have to go associate with more morons. So ciao, also thank you to 50 people who read my stuff that is 49 more than I expected.
