Blossoming in Sinnoh(Pokémon Journey)

Chapter 16: Grass Hunting

The next morning Cayla was up bright and early. She swiftly changed into clean clothes, took down vitals on Zero, and ate before leaving, with a note to her Mother, to go look for a Pokemon. All of the Flying Types were outside, enjoying a morning fly when Cayla stepped out of the house. "Come on out!" She called, throwing her three Poke-Ball's into the air.

"Chim!" "Chipa!" "Va!"

"Okay everyone, we lost our last contest but that's no reason to give up!" Cayla smiled at them. "First lets get you all some food, and then we'll do some drills to freshen up your moves. Once thats done we're going out to find a grass type that will perfectly round out our team!"

"Chimchar!" "Chip!" "Poreon!" They all cheered. 'Lets do this!'

"Yeah, lets do this." Cayla nodded, determination lighting a fire in her grey eyes.

-----Time Skip to Grass Type Pokemon Hunting-----

Cayla pushed her way through the forest. Pachi was searching from the trees, while Vapor looked around the streams, and ponds. CC was sitting on her shoulders, looking around with Cayla. So far they hadn't found anything, other than bug types, and a few Pidgey's, and while Cayla knew they could be great on her team, she had her heart set on a grass type. For the Hearthrome Contest she wanted to pair opposites up, and CC needed a grass Partner.

"Chim! Chimchar!" CC pointed ahead of her, where a little grass Pokemon. It looked like a hula dancer, long petals made the grass skirt with two flowers

*Bellossom- The Flower Pokemon. Plentiful in the tropics. When it dances, its petals rub together and make a pleasant ringing sound.*

"How cute!" Cayla gushed before reminding herself that she had to catch it before it ran off. "CC use Ember!" CC jumped off her shoulder, throwing his body to display his Ember. The orange red rained down on Bellossom.

Bellossom jumped out of the spray and launched a lovely pink Petal Dance. Of course it didn't to much to CC.

"CC use Flame Wheel!" CC turned the ember into a Flame while, not one movement wasted. He smashed into the Bellossom, sending it falling. "Go Poke-Ball!" The red and white ball it Bellossom, sucking in in. Cayla bit her lips, watching as the ball shook back and fourth. Finally it stopped and Cayla smiled. "We did it!" She smiled at CC as he brought her the Poke-Ball. "Vapor! Pachi!" Cayla called.

"Vapor!" Vaporeon ran out of the bushes, running towards her, Pachi perched on her hand.

"We got a Bellossom!" Cayla smiled, tossing the Poke-Ball up and letting Bellossom out.

"Bell?" Bellossom looked around, and then up at Cayla. "Bello!" Bellossom smiled at her trainer, petals rubbing together to make that ringing bell the Poke-Dex was talking about.

"Nice to meet you Bellossom. I'm Cayla, that's CC, Pachi, and Vapor. Welcome to the team!" Cayla greeted.

"Va!" "Chim!" "Chipa!"

"Bellossom!" The little grass type purred sweetly.

"I'm gonna call you Bell for short." Cayla giggled. "Lets go show my mom!" She beamed. Pachi and CC jumped onto her shoulders, while Cayla scooped Bell up, and Vaporeon ran beside her, they were one big happy family.
