April 25th

All I could hear was the sound of my feet hitting the pavement, my heart thumping out of my chest and my heavy breathing. My lungs were failing me but I couldn't stop. I kept running.

The rain has started to come down harder than it was and my whole body and clothes were soaked. I could feel my hair stick to my face as the wind picked up. The street lights illuminated on the pavement and no one was out on the streets. Rounding the corner, I get yanked to the ground. I knew I couldn't get away. Even if I tried.

April 14th

"Goodnight Andrea!" I shout as I walk out of the office. Taking a look around, the streets were empty. Heading to the bus stop, I sit and wait. Looking at my apple watch, it reads 9:34 PM. After a couple of minutes, the bus pulls up with a few people on it. Walking on, I greet the bus driver, Mr. Nelsen, as I take my seat.

After a stop, a women gets off. I watch as the streets of Seattle pass by. We stop again and the two ladies step off. Looking back, I see no one but a man in the very back with his hoodie on. He doesn't care to look up from the ground. Facing the front, a shiver runs down my spine. I couldn't help but feel terrified. I hated traveling alone in the city at night. This is what I get for living here.

Rubbing my head, I knew I only had 5 minutes left on this bus. Thank god. I could see Mr. Nelsen look at me through the rear view mirror and I look down to my fingers. My minds focused on the man in the back. What was he doing? My stop was second from last. So he must be on for the last stop? Slowly, I look back again and I could see him staring down still, twisting the rings on his fingers.

Quickly, I turn back around as I get up from my seat. Holding onto the bars, the bus comes to a stop. Saying bye to Mr. Nelsen, I head out and onto the street.

Looking back at the bus as it pulls away from the curb, I then could see the man staring at me. And with that, I walked home.

Turning out the light, I lay in bed and wonder. Who was that man on the bus?
...

It has been a few days since I have seen him. But every night at the same time, I would see him sit at the back of the bus. Alone. But last night, he wasn't there.

Locking up the store, I shove the keys into my pocket as I head for the bus stop. I freeze in my tracks as I see him sitting there. Waiting for the bus. He is always on the bus before it comes here. So why is he here? I stand a few feet away from the bench.

Some people pass by which I am grateful for because lets be honest. I would be terrified to be alone with him. Looking to him, his gaze is to the ground. I can't ever see his head or face because he always wears that black hoodie.

Pressing my lips together, I wait for the bus. Praying it would come sooner. Part of me thinks about sitting next to him and talking with him. Maybe I have got this all wrong. Rubbing my forehead, I take a seat a few feet away from him. "At least it isn't raining" I say, trying to make conversation. Silence.

I chew the inside of my cheek as I feel stupid for even saying anything. He doesn't move nor look up at me. Rolling my eyes, I look down the street as a women rushes acrossed it with her dog. I jump as I hear his low voice "You shouldn't be out here late at night" he says and for the first time he looks at me.

I could see his face somewhat due to the street lights. His facial features were perfect. He looked perfect. I couldn't tell what color his eyes were. But they looked dull. Dark even.

"I-I um just left work" I say as his gaze looks down the street. He looks back to me and something has shifted in his eyes. "It is dangerous out here for pretty girls like you" he says and I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks. Looking away, I stand as I see the bus approaching. Something about those words got my on edge. I could feel his eyes on me from where I stand. Something wasnt right.

There is a few more people on the bus today, than usual and I get on taking a seat near the middle of the bus. Mr. Nelsen isn't driving today. It's some older woman who doesn't look happy to be here.

I watch carefully as he steps onto the bus with his head down as he travels to the back of the bus. I don't dare look back as I could feel his stare on me.

We start to drive off. I watch as buildings pass by. My mind going foggy as I think about all the things going on this month. I jump as I turn my head to see him sitting across the aisle, staring at me. Without a second, he sits next to me.

I stare at him as he pulls down his hood. Chocolate curls are all over as his hairs a mess. I could finally see him clearly. He looks to me and his eyes are these iviry green color. His lips look like the brightest pink and his face was just so perfect. He didn't look any older than me and he looked drained. Dark circles were under his eyes. It looked as if he hadn't slept for months.

He watches me intently as I look to his rings on his fingers. I wonder what they mean to him. We sit in silence for the rest of the way. But I couldn't help but glance at him as he was just so captivating. He was too attractive to be bothering with me.

"Have a goodnight" I say to him as I get off. He doesn't say a thing back. Walking, I check my phone for any messages. None.

Going up to the door, I unlock it and get inside. Heading to my apartment door, I go inside.

  ··

Yawning, I head out onto the street. A bunch of people are out and about there early morning. I don't work today, so I decide to head to the cafe. Walking in, I order my drink and I take a seat at my usual table. Just then, he walks into the door. He has a grey hoodie on and black skinny jeans. His hairs a mess as usual.

His eyes scan the place and he sees me and walks over. Taking a seat across from me, I stare as he stares back.  "We meet again Celeste" he says and his eyes say something much more than just friendly.

I furrow my eyebrows. Wait. How does he know my name??? My heart starts to race and my hands become sweaty. "Ho-how do you know my name?" I say and a smirk comes onto his lips.

"No work today?" he questions and grabs my drink taking a sip from the lid. Who does he think he is? My mouth parts slightly and he takes a look around. I can't help but do the same as everyone seems to be glancing at us. Why?

I stare at him, his gaze on me never slips away. "Who are you?" I ask as I snatch my drink from him. "Oh you should know that shouldn't you?" he says and clangs his rings down on the table. "I don't. Am I suppose to?" I question and suddenly I feel myself shaking. The look in his eyes tells me I don't want to know who he is.

"I'm your worst nightmare" he says with gritted teeth and with the darkest look on his face. He then smirks "have a good day" he says as he abruptly gets up and walks out. I let out a breath and I run my fingers through my hair. What the fuck. Is he insane??
