(Warning: Coming out, abandonment, homophobic slurs)

     (Third person POV)
Logan has been thinking about this since the day he started dating Delilah. He always had a gut feeling that something was wrong whenever he told her he loved her or whenever they kissed. After a lot of thought, Logan came to the conclusion that he is in fact, gay.

He found this too late however now that he had a child with this woman. Delilah insisted their name be Virgil Anx Sanders, letting the child have Logan's last name.

It was one summer evening when Logan decided to tell Delilah of his discovery and hope for the best, but everything went wrong.

Logan made his way into the kitchen, swallowing hard as he approached his girlfriend whom was holding his son. He cleared his throat, getting her attention.

"You're home early." Delilah said with a wide smile, turning around to face him.

"Yes... I was let off early. I have something I would like to tell you." Logan fiddled with his fingers nervously, preying silently that this would go well.

Delilah only nodded, really not ready for what Logan was going to tell her.

Logan sighed. "Im... Gay..." He looked at her dead in the eyes, watching her face sink.

"You're... You're a faggot?!" She grew angry, starting to yell. This caused Logan to flinch and Virgil to start crying. "You have been gay this whole time?! Fuck you Logan Sanders! We're through!" She shoved Virgil into Logan's arms and stormed out of the house.

Logan quickly took his wailing child, tears coming to his own eyes as Delilah left. He closed his eyes tightly before opening them to look at his child. "Shh hey... It's okay Virgil.." He said, trying to comfort little Virgil.

He raised his free hand up to Virgil's face, gently booping the baby. Virgil stopped wailing and grabbed Logan's finger, causing the heartbroken man to smile. "I promise to take care of you even without her..."

Virgil started dosing off, letting out a cute yawn. Tears rolled down Logan's face as he stared at the baby.

"No matter what..."

So I figured Id started this while.I had the idea.
