(Warning: Swearing, Fluff)
(Third person)
It had been a few months since Delilah stormed out, leaving Logan alone with his son Virgil. Logan was struggling to keep a job and take care of Virgil, often times skipping sleep or meals.Logan managed to get a sitter while he went to work at a local library. It was a painfully slow day, Logan managing to organize the entire kid's section before getting off.
He climbed into his car, tiredly trying to start the car only to find it not working. "Dammit..." He mumbled, removing the key and climbing out. 'Ill just walk' he thought.
On the walk home, Logan closed his eyes, trying to enjoy the brisk autumn air. He didn't get far until someone ran right into him, both men falling onto the cement. Logan groaned, blinking a couple times.
"Im so sorry! I didn't see ya there!" A smooth voice spoke.
"It is fine. I wasn't paying attention." Logan said, opening his eyes only for his eyes to meet two gorgeous baby blue eyes looking back.
His face reddened with a flaming blush, his words suddenly escaping from his throat. This man... Was incredibly attractive. The man was wearing a blue polo that complimented his eyes well with casual tan khaki pants. He had a light grey cardigan tied firmly around his shoulders. To top it all off, he had black glasses, similar to Logan's that magnified his eyes slightly.
Logan was in love.
"Are you okay?" The man asked, holding out a hand to assist Logan up.
"Huh? Oh! Yes! My apologies, I seem to have zoned out." Logan accepted the stranger's hand, getting to his feet quickly.
The man giggled, causing Logan's chest to feel fluttery. "Im Patton! May I ask your name?" Patton shook Logan's hand.
"Uhm, Logan. Logan Sanders." Logan adjusted his glasses with his free hand, smiling at Patton.
Patton smiled wide. "It's nice to meet you Logan! I must be on my way, but it was nice running into you" Patton giggled at his pun and continued on his way.
Logan watched him go, his face completely red and his heart beating fast. He blinked a few times then realized he had to get home to Virgil. He made his way home, not being able to get Patton off his mind. When he got home, he apologized to the sitter for being late and paid them. "Virgil's laying down upstairs, see you tommorow Mr. Sanders!" The sitter said, leaving the house.
Logan smiled and walked upstairs into Virgil's room. He stared at the crib for a minute then walked over seeing Virgil wide awake and chewing on his hands. Once the tiny bab saw Logan, he cooed, making a large gummy smile.
"Aww Virgil." Logan smiled wider, picking up his son. "Let's get you fed" The stoic librarian carried Virgil downstairs and into the kitchen, getting out the powdered formula and bottle of water. He quickly mixed the two with one hand and capped the bottle, holding it up to Virgil.
Virgil started eating, getting it all over himself almost immidietly. Logan chuckled and sat down on the kitchen floor. After a few seconds, Logan started talking about the man he couldn't stop thinking about.
"I met someone today. He was very attractive and kind." Just the thought of him made Logan's heart soar. "He wore similar clothes to mine, but he looked more like a dad than me. Oh and those eyes.. Those gorgeous baby blue eyes." Logan smiled down at Virgil.
"I think I like him"
