Chapter 29📍

I just want to leave school. Ughhhhhhh. Who even needs AP biology. It's stupid, were never going to use it in our lives. Were never going to use anything we learn in this hell hole. Why are we even alive? I look down at my hand observing what I see.

"Liam!"

"Yeah" I say startled looking at my teacher.

I look around to see kids laughing so I turn back around and slide down in my chair. Brett was looking at me. I feel his eyes hot on my body. Shit.

As i'm walking in the hallway Brett hurries to walk next to me. I keep on forgetting how tall he is. I look at him confused.

"Hey Dunbar." He says smiling.

"Hey Talbot?" I half smirk confused again.

"Oh sorry, am I being annoying, it's jus-

"Know your fine, we have lacross anyways." I smile

"Ok good."

"Yup."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure" I say.

"Why are you sad?" He says confused.

"Why would you think I'm sad?"

"Chemosignals."

"Oh, well I'm fine." I fake smile.

"Your heart skipped a beat Li."

"So."

"Tell me what happened." He said.

"I don't know what your expecting, I'm not going to hookup with you every time I'm upset." I snap.

"I didn't expect you too, and what I was just trying to say earlier was I don't really have any friends, so I just wanted to hang." He said embarrassed

"Oh, um sure."

"When?"

"After practice, I guess." I said

"K, my house."

We got into the locker room and tons of guys getting dressed. I see Scott and stiles talking to coach. I walk up to them.
"Hey what are you guys doing here?" I asked

They just look at each other mouthing words. I think they forgot I was standing here.
"Hello!" I yell.

"Um hey Liam." They both said at the same time.

"Your acting weird so what happened this time."

"Why would you think something is wrong?" Stiles said lying to me face.

"I know your lying." I said straight out.

"Wha—how?"

"You mess with her hands when your lying Stiles, it's your giveaway, and not to mention I can hear you heart beat." I said

"Damnit Scott we raised him well." He said looking at Scott.

"Just tell me already, I have stuff to do." I said

"Liam I don't kno—Ok well we were trying to find Theo." Scott said.

"Um we were you guys trying to find him?" I asked trying to not show I care.

"I didn't know how you were going to react." They said.

"Well I'm fine." I fake smile.

I walk away fast making it to my locker trying to calm my breathing but I end up breathing heavier and heavier. I felt the sharp pains coming back x10 worse than before. I fall to the ground hugging my legs. I tear fell down my face. I put my head in my knee's.

"Liam are you okay?" Someone familiar said.
