Chapter 5 - The Disastrous Walk

3rd Person POV:

At the end of their shift, Lily and Remus were walking home, as usual. They must have taken a wrong turn somewhere while talking and ended up in a shady part of town.

"Where are we?", Remus asked.

"I don't know and I don't want to know. Let's go back.", Lily said. They turned around to go back the way they came but found their path blocked by 3 men.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?", the biggest man said.

"Some new toys for today?", the man to the right of him said.

Remus stepped in front of Lily and said, "Leave her. Take me and do whatever you want but leave her."

"Who are you to demand from us?", the man who hadn't spoken yet said.

"No one. But please, just let her go."

"Fine, but we take your belongings, little girl.", the big man said.

Lily handed over here purse to them. The 3 men then took Remus by his hands and pulled. "Remus!", Lily yelled.

"Go away, Lily! I have handled it once, I can do it again. Save yourself, please...", Remus answered before they dragged him inside a dark and dirty building.

Inside the building, it was like a blackout, the only source of light being a small window up high on a wall. The man who was holding him threw Remus against the wall, causing him to fall down. He sat up with his back to the wall.

The biggest one approached him with an evil grin and said, "Hello beautiful..." He then proceeded to rip open Remus' shirt.

"What are you doing?"
"Getting you ready for us."

They tied his hands together and then undressed quickly. The big man ripped apart Remus' pants and smirked.

This was going to hurt and Remus did not like it one bit.

3rd Person POV (following Lily after she loses sight of Remus):

Scared and tears falling, Lily turns around and walks fast, trying to find a means of communicating. She soon finds a pay phone and using the 4 quarters hidden in her secret pocket, phoned James.

He picked up after 4 rings.

"Hello?"

"James, it's Lily. I need help."

"What happened? Where is Remus?"

"We were walking home from work when we took a wrong turn and ended up in this dark alley. *hiccup* When we turned around, there were 3 men who wanted to rape us.

"WHAT?!?!"

"And, and, Remus made them take only him and leave me. But they took everything I had. They took Remus inside this building and I am so scared. What if he dies? Then it will be all my fault..."

"Hey, hey, Lily, don't worry we will be there any minute with the police. Tell me where you are."

Lily tells them the location and then hangs up the phone.

When James keeps the phone, he turns around to face Sirius with a blank expression. "What happened, Jamesy? She said I love you?", Sirius asked tauntingly.
