The Party.

A few hours later, I was woken up by someone beating on the door. I got up and answered the door in my panties and sure enough, it was Caleb. Isaac was about to wake up and Caleb's here. I froze time again and texted Britney telling her I need her to lie for me. "Hey Britney, I'm leaving with Caleb for a few hours. Text Isaac and tell him Dawn picked me up."

I got a response almost immediately. "kk, can you text Jason and ask him to come over later?" So I said "Yeah I guess."

I coughed and unfroze time. I ran in my room, pulled on my khaki skinny jeans to make Caleb laugh, and a blue button up shirt. I quickly rolled up the sleeves and pulled my black and white hair into a messy bow bun and sprayed a little perfume. I quietly shut my door and ran down the hall to Britney's room to get my Sperry's out of the walk in closet. I grabbed her keys to the hummer and a pair of sunglasses and ran out the door with Caleb. He drove and he decided to take me to the movies and then out to get ice cream and then to Starbucks. It was about noon and I got a call from Dawn.

"Hey Destani, um I need $146 and a we need to borrow *kiwis* (Isaac's) truck.... By tonight." I kept asking why and Dawn wouldn't answer. I ask Caleb If he could drop me back off at my apartment because I wasn't feeling well and he didn't approve, but he also didn't want to push his luck. It was about 4pm now and Isaac's car was still across the road. I came inside my apartment to hear Isaac crying and whimpering in his sleep. I laid down beside him, put my arm on his waist, and kissed his cheek causing his eyelids to flutter open immediately. "Oh god, you're back. Thank god. I thought you were...were leaving me honestly."

I could not only hear, but I could feel the pain behind his raspy deep voice. I don't knew why, but this emotional Isaac drove me crazy. I bent in and kissed him, craving the subtle strawberry whiskey taste his lips allow, and then I felt him dart his tongue into my mouth, causing the flame inside me to grow immensely and I have never felt closer to Isaac before. As we lay on my bed, him shirtless, and me firmly pressed against him, I smiled. It wasn't faked or forced, it was a real smile. But my smile faltered just seconds after at the thought of him. I pulled away for a second causing him to jerk forward and be close to me again.

"Isaac, I need to borrow you for tonight, oh and your truck," he studied my face for a second and then ask "I'll gladly do whatever, but why.?" I stared deeply into his blue eyes and answered as honestly as possible "honestly I don't know. Dawn called me again and told me she needed some money, and to have you come with me but you need to drive the truck. He rolled over and pulled me onto his lap, and smiled at me while making a puppy dog face "Do I have to? I'd rather just sleep beside you. I love feeling your tiny body against mine. You're adorable, even when you tried to break my spine." I gasped and then apologised 15-17 times while hugging him.

I kissed him once more, and got up off his lap to pack my stuff. I needed all the stuff to stay in a hotel basically. I walked through the house to start brewing a pot of coffee, and I kissed Isaac goodbye so he could go and get his stuff and bring the truck back with him. About an hour later Isaac comes back, and he brought me a bottle of cherry vodka sour. We got in the truck and went to Dawn and Chads house. There was a bunch of people with red solo cups in the yard and when we went inside there was a big game of truth or dare going on. Me and Isaac walked in just in time to see Dawn and Chad making out. We sat down and watched other people get dated and held hands. I drank an entire 6 pack of bud light by myself and I had drunk so much cherry vodka sour that I couldn't see straight. All I knew is that Isaac and I went upstairs and we were making out.

We went back downstairs like 15 minutes later and we all went outside. We were letting off fireworks and me and Isaac were sitting on the steps talking. And out of no where, Caleb walked by and didn't see us. I begged Isaac not to say anything to him or get his attention. Then Chad loudly yells for every one to be quiet, that he had an announcement... Chad purposed to Dawn. She was so shocked, she passed out, and went into a coma.
