Dawn and Sara were talking when they stepped outside, but the moment the door shut they ran straight to me and Sara said "Destani, get out of here. You've done enough fighting and nobody can find john. You know he's crazy! Just please go back to Isaac's." Dawns eyes dilated and she blinked a few times she mumbled a few words under her breath before quickly spitting out the words "call Britney and warn her. She needs to leave. Now!" Dawn and Sara left me and Isaac standing there by the fire, and they walked around the house. Isaac handed my his phone and gave me a hug. I dialled Britney's cell phone number, but I got her voicemail. Today is Jason's court hearing. She's not home. I sent up a silent prayer and slid his phone into my back pocket. My hands wandered in his back pockets for a second before leaning up to kiss him on the cheek. I snuck and grabbed his keys, and ran to the truck. I jumped into the drivers seat and slammed the door. I locked the doors the moment he got up to me. I couldn't quit laughing and then I unlocked the passenger side. He walked around the front of the truck and then slid inside. His hand slid onto my thigh as I started the car. It was very foggy to only be 2 in the morning. I was secretly pretty glad there wasn't any traffic. Before I knew it, we were driving down the small narrow road leading to Isaac's apartment. I had just survived the drive without wrecking us. I climbed out of the truck and walked to the edge of the sidewalk. I rattled the keys a bit before noticing the door was open. "Isaac, we had locked this door correct?" He sprinted from the truck up to the door and pushed it open. I followed behind him quietly up the steps. "Isaac, I don't want to go home, but I think somebody's in here and I don't want to leave you inside by yourself incase I'm right. I guess I'll look around, but we hear anything or anybody then we leave. Deal?"
He glanced towards me and gave me a hug, "deal. I'll do whatever makes you happy." We were stuck in each others arms and it felt like forever before we let go. We both trailed into our bedroom, and in unison, we gasped and then I screamed. There was a bloody dead pig on fire in our bedroom floor with a note on the wall. The bloody letters somewhat read "hope you think of this when you guys visit me next time. Can hardly wait baby. Hope your hands are ready." Isaac immediately called the cops, and they were there within 15 minutes. I was shaky, barely dressed, and confused. The cops didn't question us much, but I'm sure john would be arrested. I changed clothes and packed a bag for me and Isaac. Until they could clean the apartment we had to stay at my house. Britney should be home tomorrow, I'll have to tell her to stay longer. I went and stood beside Isaac, and interlaced our fingers. Our pulses synchronised immediately and with each breath pulled us closer. Even with all of the drama going on, his arms felt like heaven. I felt his breath hitch and he slightly jerked before a glanced up and seen the wet streak falling from his chin, landing in the gap between our hands. We tightened out grip, destined to not let that tear slip. I stood up on my tip toes and kissed his cheek. With my free hand, I wiped his still wet face with my hoodie sleeve and wrapped my arm around his waist. He pulled me closer, and then I stiffened against his warm body. His eyes stared into mine, farther then just my eyes, his eyes stared all the way into my thoughts and soul. He was not only studying my facial expressions but he was also studying my spirit. He bent down and kissed the tip of my nose sending a jolt of electricity throughout my body. I needed him to be closer then ever. Anger has began to take over and I wanted john to be gone, for good. My blood was boiling and I held back the tears. My breath kept hitching and I was physically shaking so hard that Isaac had to press me against him to keep me from falling. I couldn't see and my vision went blurry, but it wasn't because of the red wall. I gave in to my tears, and just lost myself within millions of tiny voices inside my head. I knew I was safe against his solid body, and I hugged him with the last of my strength.
