S I X T E E N | The Revolution Is Coming Part 1
It was the day after I talked to my father. I thought there was going to be more yelling than talking, but I was actually surprised. My father and I actually had a decent conversation - without biting each other's heads off.
My father told me that he was sorry for everything and that he wished he could make it better. He also told me he was going to be one off the people that is going to be on the first dropship that is coming down to Earth. He said that he was going to make everything right when he comes down here. He said that he is going to be a better father to me, like he was supposed to be after my mother passed away. For once, I actually believe him. I also got a chance to talk to my grandmother when my father and I finished our conversation. She told me that she missed me and couldn't wait to see me and that when she gets down here that we are going to plant her little tree that she has on The Ark. When I was younger, I always wanted to go to my grandmother so I could help her nurture it and never in a million years did I think I would actually see so many trees until I got send down to Earth.
After I spoke to my father, Bellamy told me he spoke to Jaha and that he actually got pardoned for his crimes. I, of course, had to give him a comment, saying I told him so and he, of course, just gave me the eye rolling.
So today is Unity Day and all of us are standing in front of the screen, meanwhile Raven and I are setting up for the Unity Day speech. I am standing next to Bellamy as we listen to Jaha's speech.
"You know every year he makes this speech and it isn't actually getting better with time," I told Bellamy. He gave me a small laugh before grinning at me.
"Ohh, he can laugh," I told him with a smirk. He rolled his eyes at me before a grin made its way to the corner of his mouth.
"You know, you're cuter when you don't talk."
"Ohh, so you think I'm cute?" I told him grinning.
Bellamy was about to answer but was cut off by Jasper, "Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again! Hey! Call this batch 'Unity Juice'! Who's thirsty?"
"Happy Unity Day! Pass it around," Jasper shout as he start to pass the 'Unity Juice' around camp.
"To our sons and daughters on Earth listening to this message, we will see you soon. The first Exodus ship will launch in under sixty hours, carrying the reinforcements that you need, so stay strong. Help is on the way," Jaha finished his speech, just as the connection got lost.
After the connection got lost the whole camp started to drink some of Monty's Unity Juice. I, of course, didn't want to, because after the last time I drank, it didn't end well.
"Hey. The connection is still dead," I told Bellamy and Clarke as I walked up to them.
"Best Unity Day ever," Bellamy said while giving a fake grin before biting into his apple.
