Will's POV
Class just ended. I follow the other students out of the classroom and walked down the corridor. I never really talked to someone. I'm 2 years younger than everyone else, I'm only 16 and they're 18. I had to move up classes since I was too good for my own age. Apparently, I was the most successful kid in America, and the whole senate counted on me. I was America's prodigy, and already a part of the army. I was the only kid ever that passed my test at age 10 with full points, 1500.

"Mr. Byers?" I heard. I turned around to see one of the commanders.

"Yes, commander Larson?" Commander Larson was short, the same length as me, and she wore the army's blue costume with the amount of golden buttons and medals that showed that she was a commander. Her thin, dark hair was tied up in a high ponytail. She looked at me with an angry expression on her face.

"Follow me to my office, I want to talk to you about what you did during running practice." She started walking, and I followed her, not really having a choice. I remember what I did during running practice, and smiled at myself.

I wanted to see if I could climb a 5 floor high building in 8 seconds. I didn't succeed, but I made it in 10 seconds.

We entered the office. We were now on the 10th floor, and one of the walls in the office was one big window. From here, you could see the training arena, the school building for younger kids and the testing arena where they tested kids, and behind that thousands of gray skyscrapers. I knew that behind those skyscrapers were the slums, the poor and criminal part of the town.

"Sit down please" commander Larson said. I sat down at her desk, my back agains the big window.

"So, according to coach Robson, you where absent during the running practice, and then he saw you trying to climb up the lunch building?"

"Well, yeah, but.." I started

"Will, this isn't the first time. Last week you broke into the conference room through the ventilation, and 2 weeks before that..."

"Yeah, yeah I know. But you don't understand. If we want to capture Him, we have to be as good as Him. He once climbed a 5 floor high building in less that 8 seconds, and He broke into the medicine room at the hospital through the ventilation, and once he passed 10 guards into the bank..."

"Will, you are ruining my reputation. I moved you up, I made sure you are getting the best education and army training, and I'm counting on you. Some of the others aren't, and you have to follow the rules before someone decides that we can't keep you anymore." I frowned and sank back in the chair.

"You're not even letting me out on missions." I mumbled.

"You are not ready yet, you know that. And stop talking about Him. We have that under control." She said.

I knew she was lying. Him, everyone called him Him since no one knew his name, was America's most wanted criminal. He never got captured, not even once. He never really did something really bad, only stealing medicine from the hospital, money from the bank, and things like that. The reason he was so wanted was because the American senate hated the fact that they couldn't capture him. They wanted to seem powerful and unstoppable, but they couldn't even capture a teenage boy breaking into buildings.

Honestly, I was more impressed by him. How could he be so flexible, fast and intelligent without any education? And why didn't he get taken into school when he was tested? Maybe he never was tested. Anyways, I tried to do some of the things he did. I thought that if we wanted to capture him, we needed to be on his level.

The door opened and my brother Jonathan stepped in.

"Hello commander Byers. I was just talking to Will here, but we're done, so you can take him with you now." Commander Larson said.
