I have been so busy lately. This has been getting harder to write but I'm still going to continue because it makes me happier :)

Lydia stumbled into the backseat of the taxi, pulling Eddie's hand in after her. He giggled as he fell right on top of her, the girl getting a whiff of the long, and now even more ragged hair on his head.

She pushed the highly intoxicated man off of her quickly, and attempted to tell the driver their address, but failed once or twice after Eddie kept interrupting Lydia. Once by covering her mouth when she tried to speak, and the other by resting his head against hers, which the girl was not in the mood for.

"Eddie, stop it," Lydia mumbled and pushed the man off of her for what seemed like the millionth time. "Take two rights and then one left at the big apartment complex, and that's where we live." Lydia was finally able to finish her directions.

The drunk man giggled and leaned on Lydia in the backseat, yet again. He set his chin on her shoulder and looked up at her, speaking slowly, yet crazily.

"Lyds," Eddie slurred and set his free hand on Lydia's other shoulder. "You smell reallyyyy good."

"Yeah, well I could say otherwise about your breath," Lydia retorted, expecting to make Eddie back off, but instead only made him get closer.

The man laughed as if that was the most hilarious thing he had ever heard in his life. "Lydia, you are so so funny,"

"Eddie, you are so so drunk," Lydia crossed her arms as Eddie moved away from her, once and for all.

"Psh," Eddie mimicked Lydia from the other side of the backseat to the cab and crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm not that drunk. I feel fine."

"Ed, you had seven beers tonight," Lydia smirked. "Five more than me."

And it was true, for everyone had more alcohol than Lydia tonight. She wanted to have many at first, and have lots of fun, but quickly realized she couldn't once the boys had already downed around ten drinks in total. Not knowing how they did it, she became the mother of the group and had to make sure everyone got home safely.

Getting David, Michael, and Alex who eventually arrived into one cab was the easiest part of Lydia's hardships tonight. She could only hope that they remembered their own addresses, but other than that, she had no doubt about them. It was Eddie she had to keep an eye on, because even though they lived together, he could easily push himself out of the moving car and into the street. It was nothing that Lydia hadn't seen before, for Eddie had done some crazy things when he was drunk and out of his mind.

"So?" Eddie continued the conversation. "I'm a man, I can take my alcohol!" He said triumphantly.

Lydia rolled her eyes and chuckled at his tone as the cab came to a stop right where the two were supposed to get out.

"Thank you," Lydia spoke and paid the driver what he needed. She then opened the door for herself and pulled Eddie out behind her while the car speeded away.

The man had stumbled out of the cab, quite clumsily, but had somehow managed to keep himself standing. Lydia however, wrapped an arm underneath his shoulder to give him extra support as he tried to walk any further. The two made their way over to the staircase they had originally come out of, their journey being more difficult than usual. But after a couple of trips over small pebbles, and multiple rounds of stopping, the pair had made it, and now stood at the bottom of the what seemed like, an endless amount of stairs, one by one taunting them.

"Elevator?" Questioned Lydia to Eddie as he nodded, the girl dragging him into the small space of many buttons, pressing the one that led to their floor.

While they stood, a suddenly silent Eddie had began to talk again, him leaning for support on Lydia more than ever. This caused her to feel pain in her shoulder as they passed the floors one by one, time passing as slow as possible.

"Lyds, what are we gonna do for the rest of the night?" Eddie asked out of nowhere.

"We're going to sleep," Lydia spoke happily, for she knew she'd fall asleep in a matter of seconds once her head hit the pillow.

The elevator had finally come to a stop, much to the girl's relief, as she quickly pulled Eddie out of the small containment and into the hallway, heading to their room.

"With each other?" Eddie questioner like a little boy and laughed, making Lydia's face heat up only a little bit. "And maybe we won't only sleep." He snickered and smiled to himself.

"No. No, we are not sleeping with each other,"

"Aw, but what if I waaant to?" Eddie whined, making Lydia almost come to a complete stop in her tracks, contemplating what the man was trying to say.

"Eddie, you don't want to. You're only saying that because you're drunk,"

  "You don't know that,"

"Yeah, I do," Lydia shook off any thoughts of the statement actually meaning something. "Now, come on. Let me unlock the door so we can get inside and you can lay in bed. Without me."

Lydia dropped her arm from behind Eddie and grabbed the key from her pocket to unlock the door. Eddie, however, kept his arm wrapped around Lydia, which she didn't mind at first. Not until he started kissing her neck while she tried to unlock the door.

He placed messy, drunk, kisses down her neck right before the girl could push the door open, making her feel confused. She knew he was drunk and wouldn't do this if he was sober, but what difference did it make when she was sober and it gave her a sensation she didn't want to feel.

The girl swallowed and pushed him through the now open door, his lips disconnecting from her neck. "I'm going to bed, Eddie," She said and slammed the door behind her. "You should too."

"But I'm not tired," He argued and walked closer to her, grabbing her hand and holding it in his.

"What are you doing?" Lydia asked, but Eddie didn't answer because he was opening the door once again and dragged her along the hallway, trying to walk as fast as he could without tripping from his periodically messed up brain.

"Trust me," Eddie said while continuing to take her throughout the hall and to the entrance to the roof, that they had access to since they were on the first floor.

"You are not taking me up there at one in the morning," Lydia said stubbornly. "And there is no way I'm trusting a drunk man to take me up to a high distance."

"Oh, yes you are," Eddie said and got intimately closer to Lydia, giving her reassurance before pulling her through the door and up to the roof.

A/n: I kind of like that. Next chapter=good stuff. Thanks for reading. -Liz :)
