Chapter 9 ~ Merry Christmas! Part 1

Shay's POV**

"Daddy! Mommy! Wake up, it's Christmas!" Brock was jumping on top of us.

"Your right, buddy! Go wake up your siblings and we'll all go down together," I told him, smiling.

"Okay!" He said while he ran out of the room.

"Merry Christmas, babe!" I whispered in my wife's ear. "How are you doing?"

"I feel a little nausea but it's starting to fade as the second trimester is starting. Are you ready to tell everyone today?" She cuddled up against me.

"I'm excited to see they're reactions! And now we can go get an ultrasound. You did say you didn't want an ultrasound until everyone knew, right?" We decided to tell the kids Christmas morning as a little Christmas surprise.

"Well the kids are probably almost ready so we should go downstairs," Collette said as she got out of bed. "Shay is it obvious? That I'm pregnant?" She looked down at her stomach.

"It's getting a little more noticeable but today's the last day you have to wear a flowy top," I stood next to her and we walked downstairs together.

"Daddy can me, Brock, and Daxton come down yet?" Emmi screamed down the stairs. Sure enough, they were all three standing at the top of the stairs.

"Let me go see if Avia and Gavin are ready and then you can," as soon as I opened the basement door I saw Avia and Gavin walking out of their bedrooms. "Everybody come look at your presents!" They all ran into the living room and examined their gifts.

We decided that since we have a house in Idaho now we will do Santa gifts at our house and the family gifts at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Collette's POV**

"Do you guys like all the gifts you got?" I asked the kids while smiling.

"Yeah! Santa's the best!" Brock exclaimed.

Shay pulled out the camera to vlog. "Hey guys! Merry Christmas and welcome to the 7th Annual SHAYTARDS Christmas Special! Can you believe we've done 7 of these, Collette?"

"It's crazy!" I thought it was crazy how time flew by.

"So what did you guys all get? We'll start with Gavin."

"I got some Tech Deck skateboards, a real skateboard, some books, and more but those are my favorites."

"Cool, dude! Avia what about you?"

"Okay, well I got some nail polish, rainbow loom (yes, still popular), and some Claire's lip gloss."

"Sweet! Emmi?"

"I got some rainbow loom, Frozen 2 posters, and a Taylor Swift CD." Emmi got to meet Taylor Swift in person last year after she saw Emmi's gif.

"I like it! Brock, what'd you get?"

"I got a Spider-Man costume (he grew out if his old one), a super hero book, and super hero action figures!"

"Sweet, bro! Daxton? What'd you get buddy?"

"Legos!"

"Awesome!" Daxton is just as obsessed with Legos as Brock was. Shay put the camera away.

"Okay everyone gather around! We have one present for you guys before we go to Grandma and Grandpa Butlers. Do you wanna tell them, honey?"

"Together. We are having another baby!"

(Author's Note: Hey guys! I am extremely sorry I haven't updated in literally a month! I just got so busy with school and found no time for Wattpad, sadly. I finally adjusted to high school now and I love it so hopefully updated will appear more frequently. I will try to do updates on the weekends and maybe if I'm feeling like it during the week I'll put a short one in. Also sorry this chapter is sort of short but I am just filling you guys in snd I will put the rest of Christmas up hopefully this weekend! Thank you guys so much for reading!)
