Crisscrossed branches of lightning streaked down from the heavens with a sharp crack. Then, with an eerie sound, they stretched across the water. Aviva shut her eyes. She almost believed that they would be toasted alive when she heard Ashley cheer. Shivering, she opened her eyes. Gardevoir had hopped out in front of them and created a barrier to block the attack. The flashes of lightning were repelled skyward and hit a couple of seagulls, burning them to ashes.

At first, Aviva thought that it was Pikachu who had gone haywire and attacked them. Perplexed, she turned towards the yellow-furred Pokemon, only to find it staring at the distant with misty eyes. Aviva followed its gaze and realized that the attack had actually come from a huge yacht.

A man about Aviva's age stood on the deck. Dressed in an all-white trench coat and white leather boots, he looked like an angel who had fallen on Earth. A single stud of diamond twinkled on his left ear, giving light to the sun tattoo under his earlobe. His spiky black hair danced in the air as the sea breeze brushed their fingers through his scalp. Aviva found her heart throbbing against her will and her cheeks heating up. This man looked exactly like her future Prince!

It wasn't until Aviva had seen what he had done that made her dislike him instantly.

With a fierce glare, the ice-faced man commanded, "Raikou, Thunder Shock!"

A roar seemed to have come crashing down from the air as their surroundings were infused with lightning again. Gardevoir hissed and leaped up to the air. But instead of floating in front of them, she transitioned herself to a few feet away, blocking Raikou's attack before it hit a blue creature. Aviva rubbed her eyes to have a clearer view of the creature. It looked like a two-feet tall crocodile that could stand on its hind legs, with red spikes growing out of its back and tail.

"Totodile! Totodile! Totodile!" The blue-scaled Pokemon wagged its short front limbs as it glared at Raikou. The playful light in its red eyes had long been replaced by fear.

Anger consumed Aviva's heart. Cupping her mouth with her hands, she shouted, "Hey, you, stop what you're doing or I'm going to... going to stuff the stinky beans down your throat."

Ice Man remained silent; a faint smirk hung on his thin lips.

Raikou growled and stepped in front of its master. Its red eyes scanned through the group that had disturbed its match. Aviva's anger soon morphed to admiration. She couldn't help but gawk at the Electric-type Legendary Pokemon. It resembled a tiger. Its light blue tail shot upwards in wrath; the spark-shaped formation at the end of the tail looked like it was going to strike Aviva anytime. In fact, bolts of lightning were zip-zapping out of its dark purple mane now.

Aviva couldn't believe her luck. She had never thought that she could see a Raikou in her life.

Jealousy coursed through her veins the longer she studied the Pokemon. How on Earth did Ice Man capture Raikou? That Pokemon had a Catch Rate that almost equaled to zero. Still, it didn't mean that he could use such a powerful creature to bully a weaker victim.

Clearing her throat, she mouthed her threat, "I command you to leave Totodile alone. If you persist in your crime, I will have to capture you. I have the authority to--"

"Capture me?" His voice sounded colder than the winter's frost. "Do you know who am I?"

"I don't care whether you are my father's son or the King's gardener. Totodile is 1,300 points weaker than Raikou. It's unfair for you to bully Totodile with Raikou."

"Unfair? I don't recognize that word. I'm born to only understand the difference between a winner and a loser. Clearly, you fall on the second category." He left Aviva to consider the truth in his words before turning to his Pokemon, "Raikou, finish it off now!"
