I woke up to Veronica knocking on my door. "Alissa, are you awake?" I got up and opened the door.

"I'm awake." I said, sleepily. She frowned.

"Oh, did I wake you?" She asked. I nodded and shrugged.

"Yeah, but it's okay." I stepped out of the doorway and stretched. She walked in behind me.

"So, did you sleep well last night?"

   I nodded.

"Do you need anything, like a brush, toothbrush, clothes, or anything else?" Do I? Probably.

"Do you have a hairbrush?" She smiled and nodded. She left the room, and came back with a hairbrush. She placed it onto the bed.  She sat down beside the brush, her hands propped up, holding her up.

"I have to go get ready for school. Would you like to come with me?" I gave her a strange look.

"Don't you have to be enrolled in a school to be able to go to it?" I asked, laughing nervously.

"I mean, yeah, but, I think Principal Weatherbee could make an exception." She smiled devilishly. I shook my head in a playful way while smiling. "What?" She giggled.

"Nothing." I looked at her & smiled. "I guess I'm in." Her smile brightened and I swear she almost hugged me.

She left the room and I picked out an outfit to wear.

I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and Veronica walked in. She looked me up and down. "Wow." is all she had to say. I looked at her.

"Yes?" I asked, to break the silence. She looked into my eyes.

"It's time to go." I nodded and we left.
