-Next day-

I woke up to being covered up beside Daniel. I was about to scream until I remembered the events from yesterday. I relaxed & got up. He woke up right after me. "Good morning." I heard his sleepy voice. I smiled at him.

"Good morning." I said back. "School. Come on & get up." Now it was my turn to drag him. I pulled him out of the bed & onto his feet, giggling almost the entire time.

"Okay, okay, I'm up." He said, laughing. I let go of him and picked out my outfit for the day. I picked out a white crop top that ties at the bottom and some black ripped jeans. Then for shoes, I picked out a pair of Nikes that I apparently brought with me as well. Now for hair, I did a half-up, half-down. I put a bun at the top and left the rest down. I was pleased with my choices and walked out of the bathroom. Daniel's eyes lit up when he saw what I was wearing. "Woah."

I giggled yet again & left the room to go to V's. I walked in and she was gone. I kind of got worried but then I figured maybe she already left. I went back to my room to get Daniel. "Come on, we're going to school." He nodded & followed me out. We got to school, but we didn't see Veronica anywhere. I texted her.

AS: V, where are you?

V: in class!

I walked to our class, Daniel following behind. I walked in and saw her. I calmed down and walked to her. "You had me scared." She looked over at Daniel, then back to me.

"I'm sorry. You both were sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to disturb you. I left very early. Needed to catch up on some things." She explained. I felt like that wasn't the complete truth, but I went with it anyways. Daniel said his goodbye and went to his own class since the bell was about to ring. I turned my head towards my friend.

"If I had a problem, would you help me?" She nodded. I debated on actually telling her this or not. I sighed and turned my body towards her as well. I started explaining everything. From what happened at home to why I'm in Riverdale. I made sure to keep my voice down so nobody else could hear. She looked to be processing everything. She grabbed my hand and smiled at me.

"I'll help as much as I can. I promise." I smiled back and nodded.

"Thank you, V." We hugged and continued our work.

No one had heard from Archie since he told me what him and the man that raised me kept from me. Now I want to find my real dad as soon as possible.

-Yet another time skip, a few months later-
It had been a few months now since I had first moved to Riverdale. Me & Veronica are super closer than we were when I first moved here. We're still trying to find out who my family is. We don't know where to look.

"I just thought of something!" V said, taking me out of my thoughts. I looked up at her, sensing her to continue. "What if we get DNA from all the dads in Riverdale? Then test it with yours?" That could work, but who has all the time to do that?

"Maybe, but where do we have the time?"

"Simple. I have friends that are good with DNA samplings. But as to your question, not everyone is going to do it. It's always the ones that you wouldn't think of. For example, I thought me and Betty were going to be bestfriends, but she changed. I don't know why, because all the other serpents are very kind." Serpents? That sounded familiar.

I looked up at her with confused eyes. "Serpents?" I asked.

"Serpents are-" She started to explain but someone bursted in. Betty and the raven haired boy.

"We need the room for Blue & Gold." The boy announced.

Veronica turned to them, then looked at me. "These are serpents. They're gang members." I nodded.

"Oh." I said. "Cool." Veronica gave me a weird look, while Betty, as usual, was glaring at me.

"Jug, have you met Alissa yet? Like, properly?" Veronica asked him. He shook his head. "Well, Alissa, this is Jughead. Otherly known as Forsyth. Then that's his girlfriend, which you already know her." I nodded my head, as did he.

"Okay." I said. Well, I just found out his name. Cool. I looked over at him. "Well, if you need the room, then okay." I felt weird around him for some reason. Veronica and I left them in the room and went to the library instead.

The rest of the day carried on very slowly. I was ready for my shift at Pop's to hurry up. I loved working there. I got the job so I could make my own money. I don't want to use Veronica's. I see Jughead around there a lot. He's always writing on his computer. A lot of teenagers came here, even if it was to just hang out.

After my shift, I went to mine, V's and Daniel's hang out spot, which was Sweetwater River. I met them there as I smiled. "Hi, guys." I said as I walked up. I hugged them both once I got to them.

"Hey." They both said in unison. I giggled at them. God, I'm so happy I decided to come to Riverdale.

"So, any update on information?" I asked.

"No, I don't think so." Veronica said. I sighed.

"I want to meet them so bad already, to know who they are."

"Okay, what if we make an anonymous advertisement about someone looking for their father?" Daniel suggested, corresponding with Veronica's idea about the DNA. I thought and agreed to the plan.

"Fine. Let's do this." I put my pinkie out for them to grab. It was our little thing that we did.

We then started the plan, and I felt like I was getting closer to finding out who my father was.
