The 2 sisters landed in a vast, dark forest , laying on the coarse, dead gray leaves that the trees have shed. O'Genesis was the 1st to awaken from her slumber, sitting up, the leaves crunched loudly under her pale hands. "Endcross...we're.In.Endcross." She said, shock in her voice. She stood, the leaves protesting at her movement. She looked at herself. She was no longer in her comfy, bat slippers and black pjs, she was dressed in a black leather jacket, jeans and knee-high black boots. A satchel sat on her shoulder and a pair of goggles sat on top of her hair. O'Genesis peered at the insignia branded onto the jacket, "Queen. I've been marked the Queen." She sighed.

She wanted to start off on her own, leaving her sister to die by either the cold or the Host, but she stood at her sister's feet, waiting for her to awaken. " No matter how horrible of a chess player she is, I will not leave her side. I will not stoop to her level, no matter how stupid." A rustle. O'Genesis opened the satchel quickly, searched through the pile of black chess pieces and produced a silver knife from the satchel. Though afraid, she was also determined. She has made up her mind that she will not die at the hand of a beast.

A 4-legged creature hopped out of the bush, rustling dead gray leaves onto the dead forest floor. The creature had big ears, glowing white eyes dripping a black, gooey substance, a skinny, white body with spikes on the spine adn a whip-like black tail. A black tounge lolled out of it's mouth, dripping corrosive black spit that burned a hole through the ground. O'Genesis readied in a battle stance, eyes narrowed and glasses clear as day, "A Shadowkeeper."

The creature now recognized as a ShadowKeeper hissed , it's bloody, razor-sharp teeth glimmering and it's sharp, poisonous silver claws were drawn out. It lept at her, but O'Genesis dodged it after slashing it's front leg. The ShadowKeeper landed beside O'Jase, who was not moving at all and the ShadowKeeper didn't seem to arcknowledge her. "If I get scratched-AH!" O'Genesis dodged a close blow to the head from the creature, rolled away and waited, focused on the creature's every move, "It will be a painful death." She said to herself.

The creature shook it's head quickly, reared up, mouth open and waved it's tail quickly. "Oh no." O'Genesis said in a dreaded tone. The ShadwKeeper spit the corrossive spit at her, luckily, she dodged the bullet-shaped spit wads and hid behind a tree. "Can't get hit by these either." The creature let out a piercing cry before hissing again and disappearing. O'Genesis looked back to see it gone, "This is not good..." She stated worriedly. A hiss from behind her. She whirled around to come face to face with the creature, "This is really not good." She stated again just before the creature nearly snapped off her head. She rolled away from the attack and hid behind another tree. She searched the satchel and pulled out 4 throwing knives.

She ran to the beast again and dodged the spit wads and the lashes, throwing the knives at it's chest. She missed 3 times, but the 3rd one embedded itself deep into it's chest. It let out a wounded howl before falling onto the ground, it's bubbling, black blood circling it and the leaves. She raced back to her still sleeping sister, pickd her up and ran off, "We better get to a safe place before more appear and I need to stock up on weapons because we're going to be here for quite a while." She said as she quickly ran through the woods, going farther and farther into the dark.
