The Host appeared on the bloodied board and smiled, "O'Genesis, you've done well." O'Genesis turned to the host, her eyes still aglow. "It is time that I pass my powers and title to you." "What do you mean, host?" O'Genesis asked. "I mean that you won and never in a few decades...nobody won at this type of gruesome chess game...you won and you deserve it, child." The host smiled. O'Genesis looked down and back at the woman with a smile on her face, "If you insist."

The host floated towards the girl and held up a glowing blue hand before placing it on O'Genesis's chest. O'Genesis grunted and howled in pain and tried staying still through the power transfer. The host started to shudder and shake as her body began to turn transparent. After a few minutes, the host was almost gone, she said in a whisper, "Good luck, child." And with that, she disappeared. O'Genesis coughed and on her hand was a black gooey substance she has coughed up. Her blood was now black. She shook off the sticky substance and smiled, "I am the new host? Hm. Pleasant. Now, how to get back to Endcross."

*A few attempts later*

O'Genesis flew through the sky and into the Estrelle home to not see Harley there. She walked downstairs to also not see Robin. "Must be in the city." She chuckled as she walked to the bathroom to clean herself up and changed into a black shirt, white shorts and black sneakers. On the bottom of her shorts was a black queen chess piece was etched on it. When she walked out of the bathroom and downstairs, she was greeted by Robin and Harley, who hugged her. "You're safe!" Harley exclaimed. "Oh dear child, you're ok!" Robin said with relief. "Yes, I'm fine." O'Genesis smiled, hugging back. The 3 of them let go after a while and Harley said seriously to her mother, "Momma...we have to tell her." Robin sighed, "You are right, my dear." She turned to O'Genesis, "Child, we have something to tell you."
