" That ma'am would be 3 Dominions and 2 Dominos." The kind lady smiled at O'Genesis.  O'Genesis took out 3 Dominions, each etched with a Queen and 2 quater-sized white coins etched with pawns in the wreaths. "3 Dominions and 2 Dominos." O'Genesis handed them to the lady. The lady smiled brightly as she put them in the cash register and gave O'Genesis a gold box which held O'Genesis's Silver silk cloak, "Come back again, young one." "I will, thank you." O'Genesis beamed and skipped out of the shop. She spotted a store that sold weapons. She needed those just in case. She walked over, reading the sign.

"BlackSteel Weaponry." She read and walked into the store. The store was dimly lit and the cashier wasn't paying her any attention. She eyed the weapons...all complex and expensive. 'All I need is a few simple knives and 2 guns.' She thought when she found a wall devoted to such items. She grabbed 5 knives, 2 guns and brass knuckles before walking to the cashier. The cashier stared at her, "A girl? What are you doing here and who are you?" He snapped. "My name is O'Genesis Namori, I would like to buy these." "Who are ya kidding, kid-" O'Genesis glared at him, a knife she had in her satchel was suddenly in her hand and staring the guy down.

The man looked at the sharp tip of the knife, knowing that one wrong move could send the knife impaling his chest. He just rung the products up and put them in a bag and gave them to her through shaking hands, "Take it and leave." O'Genesis gladly took the weapons, put it in her satchel and walked briskily out but she was struck by strong winds and dirt was flung eveywhere. Everyone around her stopped and so did cars and other mobiles. Then al of a sudden, everything went berserk. People ran everywhere, mobiles sped off and a siren rang around the city. The sky darkened and the wind went everywhere. "O'Genesis! O'Genesis!" Someone called her name.

People went this way and some went the other way. Soon, there were nobody on the streets, not even cars. All was quiet except for hurried footsteps. Harley's footsteps. Her cold hands grasped O'Genesis's wrist and she continued to run for a bit before whispers and howls filled the strong wind. "It's here." She whispered, fright in her voice as she ran faster, dragging O'Genesis in the process. Soon, the whispers were accompanied by footsteps and the whispers got louder, all of them disorted. They ran into the closest, less occupied building there was and hid under a table with Harley hugging O'Genesis for comfort and natrually, O'Genesis hugged her back. A silvery apparation appeared to form in the wind. It didn't seem to take a form.

It's eyes were a bright, glowing, neon gold and that's about all they could tell. The apparation let out a screech, which caused the glass of the stores and houses to crack and some even exploded. The aparation looked around for a bit and luckily, the civilans were well hidden because it then disappared. Everyone came back out to see the damage, which wasn't much except for a couple of broken windows. Everyone began to continue with their day and Harley and O'Genesis decided to go back home just in case it decided to pop up again.

"Who was that thing, Harley?" O'Genesis asked as they flew bak home on Alice. "That...that thing was the Host." Harley said and with that, they rode on in silence, an uncomfortable air surrounding them.
