(A/N unedited but I'm not sorry about it)

Emma Chamberlain

The school gates open up and the crowds of excitable Friday-mad students pile in mid-conversation about their up coming weekend.

Olivia is one of those people, she's bragging about her mini holiday get away with Samuel. He's taking her to a beach... or something like that I had kind of spaced out and wasn't listening.

It was a dull day so I didn't understand why the bad boys had decided to huddle outside in the rain. Surely their cigarettes would be put out I thought but then realised I don't care and carry on walking.

I'm nearly passed them, I chant realising I'm holding my breath until one of their arms shoots out and pulls me back like a spring.

"Emma" says a voice and I look up through the smoke and see Nate.

I pull my arm away in disgust, looking around to see whether my two best friends had even realised I'd been lured in.

Before I have chance to scream or make a run for it I notice Ethan and Grayson are stood closely to my left.

As Nate gets closer to me, I slide to the side and grab onto one of the boys in fear. Luckily it's Grayson and he turns around and instinctively so does Ethan.

"What do you want?" I ask trying to be as strong as possible but trembling as I say it.

I feel Grayson's presence behind me which is soothing but even more so, knowing that Ethan is stood next to him makes me feel completely safe.

"I wanted to invite you to my house party tomorrow night" he says almost innocently.

I knew what went off at these parties, I knew it was full of drugs, sex and alcohol but for some reason I really wanted to experience it.

Yes, I'd been to a few parties but they were mainly for all girls and sucked ass.

I also knew that with Olivia gone with Samuel and with Amanda visiting her mothers side of the family for a christening of some long lost niece, I'd be home alone all weekend. And even if by some miracle Emre was staying home for the weekend, I wouldn't even know what to say to him.

"I'll think about it" was all I reply with, trying not to sound completely desperate to get out the house.

Nate nods at me, satisfied with my answer and turns to talk to Kian who is leant against the school wall with a cigarette hanging from his plump lips.

Thank god I don't have asthma, I say to myself as I stand bewildered and lost between the piles of testosterone.

The school bell saves me and I leave for registration in a hurry.

Unlike most the children at QUEENS I still had to attend my job before the weekend could commence, and it was going to be a long shift today due to the fact that Dorothy was going to be flitting in and out which meant I neither had a good conversation or bliss silence.

On the walk towards the library I notice that the Pharmacy is back up and running and that the sickly yellow tape has vanished, like nothing had ever happened.

It makes me wonder whether it was all just a dream, and in some ways I hope it was and in some ways I simply don't.

The shop is open and the small bell chimes which implies that Dorothy has already unlocked the shop and is buzzing around already.

She was busy doing a book swap up at the homeless shelter after her group reading had been such a success. She had already warned me that the shelves would look strangely scarce but I honestly wouldn't have noticed.
