Emma Chamberlain
The school bell rang throughout the school field minutes after both me and Amanda had stepped in the outer gate.
Just ahead of us Olivia swings out of Samuel's car and gives him a peck on the lips before calling for both of us to wait up for her as she slings her handbag over her right arm.
Normally we're late unless Emre, my brother, is feeling nicer than usual which is almost never.
As I step in the main doors I know for certain that we're earlier than the leather jacket fuck boys who are visibly still hanging around a certain car.
"I'll catch you after maths" I sigh waving off my best friends as they head towards their first lesson at the opposite side of the school.
I swing open the door to my math class and immediately feel the glare of the female teacher boring into me.
"Late aren't we, Miss Chamberlain?" Mrs P says with a harshness to her voice.
Quickly trying to get onto her good side I plunge my hand into my bag and delicately place my homework upon her desk. It earns a satisfied nod from her, before I seat myself on the back row next to an empty chair and a girl who I only knew as Ellie.
Ellie pulls out a pen with a fluffy Pom Pom on the end of it which causes me to giggle as it matches every other utensils in her bag and complemented her sense of style perfectly.
As I was admiring her pink... everything, a loud slam comes from the door.
"Mr Dolan" Mrs P snaps "may I remind you that a leather jacket is not part of our uniform"
Ethan is stood at the door still sporting his leather jacket and skinny jeans. His face is eerily familiar which is strange because I'd only ever heard of him and not seen him in person.
He looks upon the teacher as if she is speaking Spanish with a scowl and decides to blatantly ignore her presence.
"Do you at least have your homework?" She quizzes now gaining everyone in the classroom to give Ethan their full attention.
"No" he scoffs exuding attitude and confidence "when have I ever done any homework for you or anyone for that matter Mrs P?" He asks rolling his eyes and proceeding to scan the classroom for a spare seat.
I look to my left at the spare seat wishing it was taken by anyone but Ethan. My gaze slowly rises to look at the leather jacket, Ethan smirks and begins to walk my way.
I close my eyes hoping the ground will swallow me whole before he reaches the chair.
Unfortunately my prayers aren't answered, and with a loud crash he places himself in the spare seat, knocking back on his chair to chew his gum towards the ceiling.
He chews loudly so I groan louder in annoyance.
"And when have we ever stated that male earrings are to be worn, Mr Dolan?" Mrs P says taking hold of one of her board chalks and pointing it in the direction of Ethan's ear where a flat black earring was pierced into his ear.
"And girls can wear them? Where's the equality there?" He snaps back wobbling in his chair until he is sat leant over the table to glare at the teacher in a rebellious manner.
"Oh so now you care about females and equality" I scoff under my breath and Ethan turns to look at me with a raised eyebrow.
Fear flashes before my eyes as I let it sink in that Ethan had almost definitely heard me.
In all honesty I had never heard stories of him being a man whore or even sleeping with a girl, he wasn't that type of bad boy, so I instantly start to feel bad.
I didn't know everyone in Ethan's friendship group truthfully, though I knew almost all of them wore leather jackets and did illegal shit.
I didn't know them mainly due to the fact that I never encountered them at school because they usually ditched or were too dumb to be in my classes.
"Did someone say something?" Ethan asks deeply looking at me with a straight face which shakes something deep down inside me.
I don't show my terror though looking upon his hands simply scared me to the core; they're larger than my face and I know it would take only one hit for me to die. That wasn't an exaggeration as I was sure I'd heard rumours about it actually happening previously.
For the rest of math I try to focus on Mrs P's rambling but I can't help but notice Ethan hasn't even opened his textbook.
The time is nearing first break and as I push my chair under the table to take my book to the front desk, Ethan grabs my wrist.
A sick feeling rises up my throat as I close my eyes and brave turning round.
To my confusion all he does is place his book on top of mine and then turns from me to put both his earphones in.
I realise I've been holding my breath as I exit the class room. I practically sprint towards my best friends who are already sat down at a free table in the cafeteria deep in conversation.
"Have you seen that Grayson?" Amanda asks as I sit down with a sigh of relief.
"Who's Grayson?" Olivia asks biting into the final piece of her sandwich whilst wiggling her eyebrows and shaking her shoulders up and down.
"He's just a boy I met."
I try and play off before moving forward, fidgeting in my seat until I'm comfortable.
"I nearly died first period too. I accidentally sassily responded to a comment Ethan Dolan made"
Both the girls sat in front of me gasp and break into a conversation about something illegal he had probably done. I zone out trying to scan the cafeteria for Grayson but he is no where to be seen.
"Looking for Grayson?" Amanda asks "shall we go search the school?" She suggests standing up and motioning for Olivia to follow us.
I have no idea where to start but I'm intrigued to where the mysterious cute boy spends his time.
