"I can't believe the summer is already over!!!" that's the first thought on my mind as I step into school. In front of me are friends hugging friends for the first time in 1 months. "Hayley!!!" I hear my name being called and turn around to see Alice. She runs up to me and gives me a huge hug. "Hayley!!! I've missed you to much!!!" I hug back you're relieved to see Alice and her craziness again. The two of us step out of the door so we can compare schedules. As she's going on about all the people in her classes I look up and see Sophia Carter dressed as usual in brand name clothes that must be worth thousands. Behind her holding her hand is Nathan Sykes. Wow. It's like he's gotten hotter over the summer. As him and Sophia find some of their friends Nathan smiles that smile that can make any girl melt. "Hayley! Hayley!!!" I look at Alice snapping at me trying to get my attention "Earth to Hayley!!! It's the first day!!! Can you forget about boys for 2 seconds????" I look at her "That's easy for you to say!!! You and Lucas have been going out for almost a year!!!" Alice looks at me "I'm not talking about him all the time!!! Listen. I love you but Nathan is with Sophia and has been since we were freshmen. There are plenty of other boys in this school. Besides you could do better." The warning bell rings and you both exchange looks and walk to your lockers before class starts.
